why do they declare their data plans is unlimited when the truth is it isn't? isn't that false advertising?

unlimited doesn't give a cap nor block your ways to stream like on a slingbox....

Unlimited doesn't have to be unlimited...

Based on rules and facts you can be degraded to lower network standards which will throw you on slower speeds, making you feel as if you want to give up on it after awhile, therefore butchering your thoughts on downloading whatever is on the list and making you quit on your data, stupid but it's a technicality they can get away with, get used to it, cause no matter what company it is they will find a way to screw you

also if you think about it there is no such thing as unlimited.

i.e. Unlimited per month

Your limits include but are not limited (pun) to:

time = month
speed = network
device = available memory
programming = available programming

Only Jesus' Bible phone is unlimited

The key phrasing is unlimited access. No where in any terms of service or any brochures does it say unlimited usage. Technical yes, legal yes, shady yes.

Has anyone been charged for domestic data on an iPhone when they had the $30.00 data plan? No where that I can find...

Well then they wouldn't be using it as it was meant to be used so they deserve it. There is a tethering plan for every device that is capable of it.
