Yea I'm going to have to agree with jayshmay...if this samsung is half as nice as it sounds, i'm going to ditch my G1 for it...i like the G1 concept but the device is made so cheap and the camera is garbage with no flash and my phone squeaks, sometime...

will it come as non-branded?

I simply don't want ANY carrier stuff and setting
and hopefully I can play some streaming and use as modem (tethering) with netbook out of the box
Nope
If your computer literate and dont mind rooting your phone you can always install the dev software, no carrier garbage to speak of.

FINALLY! A Samsung phone I might buy!

I can't remember the last time I've had even a remote interest in a samsung phone. 🤤
