no. iden users will still be iden. what the goverment wants from sprint is to switch its iden users to the 1900 spectrum. the problem is that the 1900 spectrum that the goverment is offering is still being used by some goverment agencies and those agencies doesn't have any deadlines compared to sprint.

If you want to buy the iphone because it makes more sense and appealing to you then go get it. But those who would like to get the instinct wouldn't actually care about what you say especially for those people who likes the sprint service they wouldn't even care if the iphone has twice the feature that the instinct could offer. :roll:

For old customers that has the old rate plans we'll be implementing a "honored but not offered policy" so basically you'd still be able to retain and purchase buy-ups. For new customers and old customers availing the new rate plans the only buy-ups you can purchase is the nextel DC and group connect.

We already had a training for this and honestly the rate plan are good depending on the customers need but there are certain rate plans wherein you don't have any choice but to take if you'd like to go with sprint.

Actually in the numbers of sales yes but when it comes to quality they're better. We also have a high churn rate. Sprint chose us over them just because we have a good relation with Sprint. Unfortunately a lot is going to change this year and lay offs is just a part of it.

We're fine except that a lot of agents are scared because of the news that there will be lay offs. Anyway that campaign of yours is actually one of Sprint's last ace's before they decide to go for a big change. I have a bad feeling that we'll lose the program if we don't perform well this year eventhough we were always in good terms with Sprint.

Actually there was just a recent announcement today about a dual band CDMA/GSM phone about to be released and it's quite a coincidence.

Well I'm also thinking if DT would acquire Sprint that means that they can also run two technologies at once CDMA/GSM and it will be easier for them to acquire AT&T(GSM) & VZW(CDMA) customers and it's an easy switch over.

My guess is that they are already in talks with DT and it might be that DT will not buy Sprint/Nextel with the Nextel name attached to it due to the complications that it might bring. Anyway it's just a guess.
Possibilities?
With Nextel out of their way It can be possible making DT acquire Sprint with less complications. I'm also thinking what will be the effects for the upcoming wimax and qchat.

Don't forget about the bugs and the hassles of taking care two types of accounts (ensemble and p2k). Everything's a mess to be honest but gradually the billing system for the old accounts are being changed and things are improving. Unfortunately the way I see reports for p2k customers being transfered over to ensemble is taking quite some time and it could take until the end of this year before it's done. Actually I'm one of those call center agents making calls here in the Philippines but I do agree that they should move CS to the US it's not because I wanted to lose my job but it would actually help more people especially the company. Sprint doesn't trust us anyway and they are only giving us limited access to their customers account that's why we have to pass around the customers until they get someone that's in the US ...

Sprint maintains about 20%-30% of it's customer service in the US and the rest is in India and Philippines wherein they pay call center agents an average of $250 a month which is just enough for them to make a living. If an American would be able to make a living out of $250 which I know is joke then perhaps they'll consider moving customer service back in the US.

Man before you laugh, how about thinking twice about your fellow human beings that's going to lose their job if what you're praying for happens. Rather than praying for the ship to sink it's better to pray that Sprint get itself together, improve its services so that everyone would be happy or at least most would be happy.
