Huh? The picture they showed with this story shows a razr with a black and white outer screen - one that presumably does not go black like the outer color screens do. Unless I am wrong, which I might be, all other razrs have a color outer screen.

My bad - I meant the fact that it has a black and white outer lcd, rather than a color display... I much prefer the black and white b/c it stays on at all times.

Is this new? I wasn't aware of any Razr's that had an outer lcd screen.

Love the style and the size, but this phone just isnt' for me. Call clarity is not as good as my old 4400. Everything sounds muffled and distant, even in perfect RF areas. Stinks, because I really thought this phone would be better.

My bad - you are absolutely right. I thought it always beeped right away on my v60, and then beeped every 5 minutes. I apologize. it works. By the way - have you had any problems with the phone not acting like it's closed? I've read of one other person having this problem. I close the phone and the little switch doesn't catch, so the phone still thinks it's open and displays the VZW logo on ...

huh? is there a different way to activate it? I go to menu, settings, ring styles, detail, and then set reminders to beep. I tested it with missed calls and it won't beep.

My old v60i had a missed call alert - it would emit one loud beep every five minutes or so. Does the V265 have this feature? If so, how do i activate it? Thanks!

I don't know why, but it makes a huge difference to me. Just the way I am. I prefer to have it on all of the time. It's easier to look at it than to have to hit a button every time.

Will the V265 have a new charge port? i read somewhere that this phone and the v260 will either be the first with the new port or the last with the old.

YES!!!!! Thank god I'm not the only one who hates the scrolling/turning off feature of these color/OLED outer displays!!! It might as well not have a 2nd display if it isn't on!

Yes, but the 2 minute alert is not in the menu. I guess the 4400 doesn't have this feature?

I'm also interested in whether this can be done with the LG 4400, even if only for new voicemails. My old v60i would beep every 5 minutes or so when there was a missed call or new voicemail.

I noticed that the price varies throughout the country. For example, the vx6000 is $150 in florida, plus the $50 rebate. In NJ, where I am at, it is still $199, plus the rebate. Why is that?

Is it true that the SCH-a610 will have no 2nd display? Why? I understand that it can swivel, but why no 2nd display? That is one of my favorite features.

Thanks for your feedback on the lg vs. the samsung. What about the motorola t730 v. the lx6000? I swore I'd never get anothe motorola, after all the problems I've had with my v60i and its battery life/batter charger.

I currently have a v60i, which I despise. My contract is up soon, so I'm in the market for a new verizon phone. I've heard great things about the vx-6000. Should I go for it, or is the sch-a610 worth the wait? Is there anything else worth the wait, for that matter?
