! The Worst Phone Ever !

Jul 16, 2005 by wsfanatic

This phone is by far the worst phone that I have ever owned. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for. The screen is the only pro of the phone. The number of dropped calls is absolutely unacceptable! Call quality is pathetic! Pass on this phone.

Can you say CRAPPY Phone???

Jun 30, 2005 by Sarah_Beth

This is a TERRIBLE phone!! I am only 16 and I talk on the phone like 24/7 ok?? So my phone get used frequently and some of the buttons have stopped working!!! Like the menu key, the only way I can get it to work is if my phone is just freshly charged. Sad huh?? I have had this phone since Jan 05 because I had to get a new one cuz I had fried the other one!! I used it way to much!! But I had originally got my first phone in Aug. 04 so my first phone lasted me from Aug. 04` - Jan. 05` what thats like 5 months!! And now I am on my second phone and its lasted about 5 more months and its horrible!! I have almost 250 hrs on it!!

So I strongly suggest that if you talk on the phone alot like I do then you need to get a more reliable phone!!!

Drop calls R' us

This is one of the worst phones I had because it was so unreliable. We had been with Cingular for four years and we were offered this phone as an upgrade when our Ericsson wasn't working correctly. This phone often shows a high signal level but it typically was dropping calls about once every two or three minutes. Cingular exchanged the phone three times and it never improved.

Despite the numerous returns Cingular would not provide me with a "new" phone unless I re-upped again for another two years. They would only replace with older refurbished models despite the fact that I had re-upped for two years in December and paid $50 for a phone which never worked correctly.

I told them to take their contract and shove it.

Other drawbacks on this phone-
No external screen- No flip phone should ever be made without a means to see who is calling without opening the phone.

What a horrible phone!

All I can say is that this phone is truly a piece of crap. It's horrible!

Pros:

Nice color screen

Cons:

Reception is horrible
Phone feels cheap (easily scratch)
No camera
No speakerphone
The whole phone

In my opinion, this phone is really horrible but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Waste of time

The LG C1300 phone is neat, stylish but it doesn't make calls. Would not recommend.

Terrible Phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got this phone in August of last year through AT&T. It started out okay. It just got okay reception. About a couple of weeks ago it started jumping through the menu screens without any buttons being pushed. None of the keys would function at all. I couldn't even answer or make calls on it. Worst of all no one could diagnose the problem.

Two tin cans and some string............

I received an offer from Cingular to "upgrade" my handset from my Nokia Gait phone to the LG-C1300. After the novelty of being able to download some polyphonic ring tones and some cool wallpapers wore off I quickly came to regret getting this phone. I use the phone in the St. Louis area, and unless your standing outside or driving with the windows down, you may as well drop fifty cents in a pay phone.

PROs:
*Nice color screen, well lit.
*Decent selection of poly ringtones.
*When you receive a call, the phone rings (but good luck with a conversation)

CONs:
*Rarely get more than 2 bars if your in a building/house.
*Talk time for battery is about half of what the specs claim.
*Phone feels cheep and "toy like".
*Side volume buttons are easily pressed resulting in accidental muting of ringer and reduced earpiece volume.
*Find myself asking "Are You There?, Can you hear Me?" frequently.

Overall:
I would not recommend this phone

I love the phone. It is way beter then my Motorola V220. WUT A BIG MISTAKE THAT WAS! It ahs no cameria. Not a biggie but a bit disapointing. The battery life is good, screen is nice and bright, menus are soo easy to navigate through. I wish it has an external display. The ringtones are ok. The phone is nice and light. It is very sleek too. Almost like ment to fit in your hand and pocket.

Pros
----

Nice and light
Sleek and stylish
Ringtones are ok
Charge time is good
Very little dropped calls
Good reception

Cons
----
No cameria
No External display
Only one game Space Balls

What do you think your getting for a free phone?

Feb 5, 2005 by Cingular_telesales

This phone is not the BEST phone at cingular, but it gets the job DONE! Cingular's GSM network has NOTHING to do with this phone AT ALL, It's the largest digital and voice network in the US, twice the size of Verizon. It's the phone, if your going to be cheap, expect cheap results! If you can't afford anything BUT a free phone... and want great service? Try the Nokia 6010!
