Motorola V635

can someone tell me how to setup the internet for the phone? i have cingular and i alrdy tried goin to their site and DLing the settings but it just sends a blank message to my phone. NEED HELP!!

i just got mobile phone tools and cant get it to work. when i click the update option it brings me to a site asking to purchase a new version for $30!!!!! more. any suggestions help. TIA

Hey SyberKowboy, if you want music in the background while doing other things go into Multimedia>Sounds and then select what you want to listen to. Only knock is that you can't have continuous play.

I switched to cingular back in february and I had purchased the Moto V551 when they were having the promo going on. I liked it had no problems then I finally met the Battery Life! So at the beginning of the month I saw a V620 and the V635 but I had the money for the V620 (17 years old). I have no complaints about the V620 no software issues nothing. I wanted to know if the V635 has the situational lights as the V620, if the camera quality is actually better with that upgrade to the megapixel and did anyone have the V620 before and upgraded to the V635. Thanks.

I have tried using the browser settings for the v551 on my v635 but it hasnt worked and I called customer care and they said since its and unlocked phone it wont work on their connection. Can anyone tell me more about flashing the phone? or how I can do it... I NEED THE INTERNET!!!!!!!! 😈

👿 I don`t know. I had my v635 for like 3 weeks now and i`m having a lot of problems with it. It turns off sometimes when i charge it...lately people can`t hear me talk with the speakerphone and most of the time when i pick up my phone people can`t hear anything i`m saying...the camera and everything else is great but my screen blanks and i haven`t even had it for a month...it was a $330 phone and i feel stupid because if it stops working im going to be stuck! I called motorola about my warranty and they tell me "the phone is scheduled to be realesed in ny the second half of the year" ...i don`t know whats that about but they said they can`t fix my phone out here and if i send it in it can take more than a month...i don`t know what to ...

I've found specs online that the V635 is 3.5" long, but found out that is closed. How long is it when it's fully opened? I need a smaller phone than I currently have(NEC 525, damned monster, 7" long). Help me please!!!!

first question- does the v635 come with aol instant messenger or wireless village

second question- how do i convert dvds to play on the phone

third question- how do i set up the phone to work with t-mobile

i have had the black razr and v620.. both supposedly with same kinda features... the v620 had wicked resolution when resized by pc when put on phone. the v3 was terrible yet both have same screen quality.. does ne one know the quality for the v635 when uploading pics from your pc to the phone

I am purchasing this phone in under two weeks when the contract on my current phone runs out. I was going to get the V620 but then saw this upgrade.
Can someone that has the phone tell me if the menus options etc are easy to use?
If they like it?
I also notice that the M on the V620 lights up different colours for different calls. Does the V635 do this?

Hello everyone. I’m very curious to find out if you can change the ringer from ring/vibrate/ring & vibrate from the three side buttons on the left of the phone. I know you used to be able to do that on the Motorola V60g. I currently have a Motorola V180 and I have to open up the phone and go into the settings and change it each time which is a pain in the but for me. Does anyone who has this phone know what I’m talking about? Bottom line I need to be able to quickly change the ringer setting without having to open the phone and scroll thru the setting each time. If anyone knows I would really appreciate it b/c I’ll probably buy the phone once I know.

Does anyone know what the dimensions are (pixels x pixels) in the video recording?

I can't get phonetools to recognize my phone, but can i save mp3's and walls on my transflash and upload from there? i dont have a card yet but wanted to see if it worked

Alright guys, I'm reallllly close to buying this phone. If I decide to I'm gonna order it on Wednesday. So the question I have for you guys is, is it worth. Is configuring the internet browser (in my case mMode) to much trouble. Are there any other problems that have arose. Any comments help.

I know there are other links to manuals, but this one has each page by itself (note 134 pages!)...You can print it out as 2 or 4 pages per single sheet of paper (check print preferences before printing), but it is nice to scroll through this one on the computer.
