flashing the phone?
I have tried using the browser settings for the v551 on my v635 but it hasnt worked and I called customer care and they said since its and unlocked phone it wont work on their connection. Can anyone tell me more about flashing the phone? or how I can do it... I NEED THE INTERNET!!!!!!!! 😈

Who is your carrier? I had an "unlocked" MPX220 with the same problem. "unlocked" phones aren't carrier specific, as lonfg as it functions on a specific carriers BAND you should be able to use the phone. All I had to do was call customer service (who couldn't help me either.) Finally I got them to connect me to the Tech Dept. They led me step by step through the process of setting up everything manually. This should be all that you have to do. Most US carriers get a little RUDE when they find out that you have purchased an unlocked phone, they tends to treat you like you aren't a REAL customer ant longer.
