i just put some 30 walmart clips onto my phone for ringers. They work great. Im just wondering how i would go about deleting them off of my phone?

Hello all i have the lg 8100 phone i heard that u can put ringtones on by getting a data cable and bitpim...i was just wondering where i could get the cable and how much it would be and where i can get bitpim? also how is there like a step by step process to explain to me how this works...thank you very much

i want to play my mp3's through my car speakers and that recquires the normal sized headphone jack ( i dont know the size). is there any type of converter for this?

I was wondering if anybody knew how to use the LG8100 as a modem for a Apple I Book? I can get the computer to recognize the phone as a modem, but it does not work. I also was able to hook it up through the bluetooth, but again it will not work. It keeps saying that I need a service provider number and mine doesn't work. If anybody knows anyway to hook up this connection you would be my hero!

i was planning on getting the 1GB card, but if theres a limit on the number of songs you can have, then i'll just get a lower memory card.

I have version 4. I have a bunch of mp3s on my 1 gb mini-sd. One of my speakers broke and I am going to need to have my phone replaced with one that will inevitably be preloaded with version 7.

If I exchange phones for one with version 7, can I activate the mp3 player from the secret menu and use my mini-sd like I have been for months. Or will I need to convert all my songs?

Ok, I've seen this on Verizon's accessory page, but it doesn't say exactly what it is....I mean, I'm not stupid, but is it a headset? Is it for your desk? It's made by LG, but I just don't get EXACTLY what it is.

OK, I've searched long and hard over at howardforums, and haven't found the answer there, so I'll try here. Has anyone figured out how to delete the "stock" ringtones that come with the phone? The ringtones numbered 1 - 10? I've tried via the newest version of bitpim, and I can get bitpim to see the ringtones I've put on there, and I looked through every folder in the file system to try to find the stock ones, but as you can guess by this post, I haven't had any luck. Anyone figure out how to do this via bitpim or any other way?

I've searched all over the forum for bluetooth stuff relating to computers so don't go crazy on me. But I just bought a usb bluetooth adaptor and am wondering is it possible to use bitpim via bluetooth? thanks in advance.

3 week old 8100 (works great). Downloaded the latest version of BitPim yesterday. Was able to sync and download my address book to a pc via the Data Cable.. Made changes to the address book and when I try to upload.. it appears it finishes.. but just before the phone reboots.. it gives an error message (failure to load message.. something like that).

Anyone have any ideas as to what I may be doing incorrectly??

Has anyone been been having problems with the 2 gig mini-sd? I'd be curious either way. Thanks

Well, I had been waiting on this thing forever hoping to finally get a bluetooth headset to work great. Well I have some good and bad points so here it goes.

Pros
Looks-about the size of a small lighter, sleek looking
Sound- Excellant sound quality on user end, very little echoe or static complaints from person on other end, best out of the any other ones I tried. Very loud and clear! 🙂
Pairing-less than a second!
voice calling-no problems recognizing voice commands

Cons
Fit-terribly uncomfortable, it has a wrap over the ear arm, but the atual earpeice is designed to fit in you ear? doesn't fit well at all 😢

So all in all it is an excellant headset, the voice and sound quality is the best of all i have used(motos 700 850...
