6100 t9 question and ringtone question...

first off i love this phone 😁 . so glad i switched from nextel. the recepion is the best i have had in a long time. ok, now my questions.

1. can you add words to the t9 dictionary?, and how many are you able to add.

2. i have read about sending ringtones via vpix. i notice that i can send them as mp3 and they play great. but i cant save them. i can send them as mid, save them, but they sound horrible. am able to send wav, but thy dont play.

3. i have noticed when receiving pix mgs. they always fail. i have to open the phone, goto mgs, goto the new msg. and receive the image.

if anyone can help that would be great.. im also going to post this in a few other places

from 7000 to 8100

right now i have a 7000 and i lve it. But the only thing that its missing is the speaker phones. I wanted to upgrae to the 8000 until i saw the 8100 coming out, so idecided to wait. I think the 8100 far improves over the 8000 in everyway way except for the outside screen from 262k to 64k. I wanted to know if u can still view the gallery and look at ur messages from the the outside. Also the play button and the rewind and ffwd buttons in fonrt of the 8000. What do they do? it says play tunes, thenit says i have none. What kind of tunes is it talking about? Not regular midi files or ringtones?

Will the VX8100 have unlimited video recording? [until the memory runs out, not just 15 seconds?]

I think what is missing

That should have been reported were the small upstart companies.

I talked to some of the manufacturer reps and more than a few of them were impressed with the design and build qualities of some of the smaller Chinese and Korean venture groups.

One group that was really impressive at the show was NewGen with their really cool designs.

Under an inform discussion in the eating area, some of the these product managers feel that in the next 10 years, some of them (like Hop On, Bird, New Gen, Telson) maybe in the top 10 market and some of the older stalwarts in the world markets (like Alcatel, Philips, Siemens and Mitsubishi) may pull out as phones becomes total commodity items.

Text Messeges

On the 8100, will you be able to read Text Messeges on the outside screen like on the 8000? I really like this feature and hope they include it in the 8100!

Is there any news on the Samsung i730? Will it be Verizon? When might it be available? Also, any hints if the WIFI portion will be enabled?

Question about MiniSD card

Hi, I know that verizon cripples their bluetooth so you pay for picture/ringtone download, but is it possible to just take the SD card out, put it in your computer and then copy everything you want on it? or is the SD card crippled too?
