LG VX-8100

I remember last month there was some guy pre selling the 8100, like 10 of them and said they would be released around end of May. Did anyone here bought it from him? what did he say now that it's not even out yet?

On this site when you go to the spec page for the E815 it now states available June 2005, however the LG 8100 is still saying 2nd qtr.

I'm tellin you guys--my bet is July, 20th. Fair enough, I can wait that long. 🙂

Just a quick note: we got e-mailed the mail-in rebate for the 8100 today, good sign there. Also, I have seen in the "Verizon Approved" thread that some markets have the 8100 listed on their "Approved Handset List" in info center. I am in Upstate NY and we have not seen that yet. Our (Up NY's) "Approved Handset List" was last updated on the second. Let me know if anyone has a more recent update!

some people have nothing better to do with thier time but jerk other people around theese are the same kind of people who put virus programs on our computers and they think all this is funny? i think theese people are in need of some shock treatment! and maybe get a fu**ing job!!!!!! 👿

Do you guys think the screen on the e815 will be larger than that of the 8100? Thats a pretty important feature

Upstate NY's last "Approved Device" list was updated on the second...no 8100? Any other markets hav it on your list yet? I know a few do, just trying to see who.... THANKS!

I have heard that the E815 was approved by Bluetooth SIG and it has an approved OBEX profile that can be accessed by a seam edit in the production verizon phones which are going to be out soon. Was the 8100 phone ever approved by Bluetooth? Does it have a hidden Obex profile? Anybody who has the phone or Knows anything your help would be appreciated! THANK YOU 😁

I dont understand why everyone is going crazy about this ugly phone. The e815 looks alot better than this phone. If it had a silver faceplate, it would look better.

that website lists the clips that VCAST provides, choose one and click "details" and it will come up with the phones that work with VCAST and verizon, phones that havnt come out yet are on there including the moto E815, lg vx8100, LG VX9800, Samsung SCH-a950, Samsung SCH-a970!! pretty cool!!

I got the rebates for the phone today. So that means its coming out soon. I also got rebates for the Motorola E815 if anybody is interested.

😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 I was in the East Brunswick store in NJ. Asked the salesman about the 8100. Acknowledged it, but didn't have a release date. Told him about the rebates and he said "maybe that tells you something". The manager was standing there and said "I wouldn't wait if I were you". I asked him why and he said "there are OTHER phones to be released before the 8100". I didn't ask other than the MOTO e815. He said it would DEFINATELY by out before the 8100. Possible? I'm sure VZW will not release two top-notch phones together. Doesn't make sense financially. Don't know what to believe any more. Sure hope he was wrong, but I'm beginning to believe a Xmas special.

I hear people talking about release dates as "soon" or "not long"... I define "soon" as 2 to 3 days. One guy said the 8100 will be out "soon" and I asked for clarification and the response was "no later than two months". In todays fast cycle world, that is not "soon". Anyone know in REAL time terms when this phone will hit the streets?

went out last night and was skipping through the july 2005 issue of PC World and saw an article on the lg vx8100, remix kx5, and 2 other nokias, well it said that the 8100's video was very very dark when taking and viewing, it also said that the remix kx5 will be realesed late August from a recent meeting they had..just letting u know

Hey guys, i keep hearing about this rebate for the phone when it comes out but how do we get it? is it for the purchaser to send out to the manufacturer or do we have to get it and present it at the store to get our rebate?? any info on the rebate will be appreciated THANKS!!

okay i took that p.o.s. n330 back last night and reactivated my 6000........told my salesman i was mad at him because when i couldn't make up my mind about the 8000 or the v710 he shoulda told me about the 8100....anyways, i asked when the 8100 was coming out and he said that his source says that the technical people already have them and that it's scheduled for 3rd quarter....i asked about the moto 815 and they had no idea what i was talking about....anyways, that's it!!!!

lol....taking my new phone i got 2 weeks ago and telling them i wanna go back to my vx6000 until the vx8100 comes out....gawd, i hope they don't hate me.....lol 🤭
