Sony Ericsson S710a

I recently got my S710a, love it.. but I can't connect to AIM. Weird thing is that my little webbrowser to get to "T-Zones" junk will work, and so do my text messaging. Calling T-Mobile has proved useless. When I try to sign on to AIM via T-Mobile GPRS it says "Sign on failed. Service not available."
Any help is appreciated.

Hey there I've just recently purchased the S710a and I've been very impressed with the phone and it's features. My main concern is that I have recently loaded several MP3's to the Memory Stick Duo (32mb) that came with the phone. However I can't for the live of me figure out how to play the files. The phone says the memory stick has 12mb free (which is correct) so I know the phone is reading hte memory card as containing information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I know that the phone only takes a 128 card. But I was wondering, if I put in a 256 or larger, will the entire card not work, or will only 128 of it work? I just picked up the phone today and I'm getting the card sometime this week, but I just wanted to make sure what would happen when I got it.

my headset is going to hell, the sound comming from the right earbud cuts in and out a lot, making it basically unuseable.

does anybody out there have a S710a headset that they aren't using and would be willing to give away/sell for a little paypal-something-something?

i can't send anything from my s710 (or v551 and T637 btw) to my PC using bluetooth, it just says connection error. my theory is that it is because my systems (all xp boxes) arent listed as having any services on them. anyone know how to fix this?

Heres the deal. On my s710a I goto Settings-->Display Tab---> then I go into Wallpaper.

You then can select Picture, Theme, or None. Everytime I select picture, it will prompt me to select my picture. I do that and is says "select". So I press select and it goes back to the Display Tab screen and Wallpaper is still set to Theme????? What the hell??? I have tried changin the picture sizes. It does however set to none. But if I try to select a picture to display as the wallpaper it will just go back to "Theme"....any ideas?

i got the new s710a with the no sound shutter.

and the bluetooth doesnt work. anybody got a solution

I am able to upgrade on the 30th of this month and I just had some questions about the current line up of phones that Cingular offers. I am interested in the s710a but I was wondering if anything new was coming out that would surpass the s710a as far as features go. I have heard good reviews on this phone but can anyone tell me of any negatives in their experience with the phone. I was also reading that the OS is kind of slow. Is it that bad as it would hinder daily operating or just lag a little?

hi I'm sorry if this has been asked before...but does the S710a support memory stick duo pro? and if it does not...then is there a 512mb memory stick duo? cause the highest ive seen so far has only been 256 mb

so i just bought my S710a...and im really anxious to start uploading mp3's into the phone..so if possible can somebody please help me out and explain to me how i can use my memory stick to put songs into my phone..and if theres an easier way to upload songs then can you also explain that to me as well? thanks 😁

First off, thank you to anyone who takes the time to read my post. I am an old ATT Wireless costumer that has been "grandfathered" into Cingular. If I was to buy the S710a and it was still locked would my SIM card work because I am now inside of Cingulars service? Thank you again.

I know this might have been asked before, but what number of KBPs are best on this phone? I tend to use 64, and I know the lower it is, the more space you can acquire. But how low can you go without affecting the sound quality dramatically?

With the firmware, can the phone start using memory stick PRO? Really would like a 1 gig now :9

Cingular really gets me.
Ok I really wanted the S710a. SO I call the cingular 1800 number, and Im half way through switching from att to cingular, changing my rate plan, ordering the s710a, and all of a sudden 45 minutes into the conversation She says that the Migration station was closed and i would have to call back monday, Or I could go to the Cingular store and do all of this, SO I went to the cingular store and I got the most horrible guy to help me change rate plans order a phone, all of that, turns out after being in the store for a hour that I couldnt do anything until my contract expired, 5 monthes from then. He said if I wanted to call the cingular 1800 number and see if they could get me the phone , to do so. So I got home calle...

IF I'm an ATT Wireless Subscriber Now Can I Still get a Cingular Phone?

I succesfully put some pics on my memory card an now i put it back in my phone but i cant get the pictures to show up on my phone what im i missing?

MY PROBLEM:
When I plug everything in, I ONLY get audio in the RIGHT Channel of my headphones (silence from the left) :/
