cosmetic defect

Could you check the side and bottom of your phone? Is there a slight gap between the top cover and middle piece of the phone? My phone has a slight gap that is noticeable along the side and more noticeable just above the "plug in" for the charger. Is this normal or do I have a defect?

Music player

The track list feature of the music player works only for music files stored in the phone's internal memory. For music files stored in the MMC card, I need to manually move to the next file to play. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks.

6230 Reception Vs. 6340i

Iā€™m currently considering switching providers. My friend has the Nokia 6340i and gets really good coverage here. I know all phones are not created equal. I know the 6230 has a ton of bells and whistles. I want to know if the 6230 has the same or better reception compared to the 6340i. Technical specs as well as everyday usage is welcome.

Thanks šŸ™‚

Trade Moto V600 for a Nokia 6230?

šŸ˜•
Looking to trade a Moto V600 for a Nokia 6230. I have the V600 that I haven't used but about 30 minutes. I have always owned Nokia's, I should have know better than switching. The V600 is awesome, I am just used to the menus of the Nokia. I feel like I could navigate my Nokia's in my sleep and the V600 is quite a bit different. Nothing wrong with the phone, in excellent shape.

Internal Problems with phone

I was talking with a telesales representative trying to order this phone. She was having trouble getting the computer to order it so she asked her manager and was told the phone had internal problems and that it would hopefully be available again on the 15th. While on the phone with her, I saw it online at cingular's site. She said it could be ordered online and then returned if there were problems. Anyone else know about this? Thanks.

I want one!

I talked to someone at a Cingular (corporate) store the other day, and he told me he wouldn't have the 6230 for another month! I'm in Atlanta. Anybody know anything about this market??

I'm an ATT customer right now, so maybe by the time the buyout is complete, we'll have them here? I'm sick of waiting. I have the 6620 right now, but it's too big. I like it, but it's too big

Web browsing

Using the web browser, does it display xHTML like the 6600 does? On the 6600 it looks more like it would on a computer screen HTML browse (like Microsoft Internet Explorer) or does it show up like WAP on a wap-enabled phone (like the Motorola V300)?

Listed on Cingular.com now

Here's a link straight to it (no picture yet). If the link doesn't work, just click "Phones" from the front page. Looks like the 6620 was also added, I don't remember it being there.

Maybe another two weeks

I just spoke with a Cingular representative here in Houston and he told me that they weren't even ordered yet. He says that it will probably take another two weeks before I will see it in the stores. Someone please tell me that this is just a Houston problem.

Cingular skipping EDGE? Why?

I read somewhere that Cingular was going to skip EDGE and upgrade straight to 3G networks. So, what would be the point of releasing the 6230. That seems like one of its biggest sellin points. I'm currently located in the San Francisco bay area where I heard EDGE is definitely not available...

Is there any truth to this? I think I read it in a forum comparing th 7610 with the 6230.

Thanks.
