Maybe another two weeks
I just spoke with a Cingular representative here in Houston and he told me that they weren't even ordered yet. He says that it will probably take another two weeks before I will see it in the stores. Someone please tell me that this is just a Houston problem.

I just got the dummy phone in today!!!! It is the same color as from nokiausa.com. Grey/silver face. GONNA ROCK!!!

Did you order from Nokia USA, or Cingular? Any info on how much it will cost a non-cingular customer to buy from Cingular? I'll be a Cingular customer when the buyout is complete. Not 100% sure if I want to spend $349 from Nokia - not yet!

maybe a silly questions but...
if this phone supports 850 GSM it should be compatable on either Cingular or AT&T Wireless networks right?
I should be able to get a SIM from ATTWS to allow this to work. Would rather stay with ATTWS on a program then switch to Cingular (they should be one soon anyway...)

The price for no-commit on the 6230 will be 299.99. -----Side note (big surprize 🙄 ) The nokia 6230 has been backordered... even after we called to varify that it was in the warehouse. 👿

Yeah, after I was told (twice!) that mine would go out this week, they then back-tracked later and said it was backordered... and of course no one has any idea of when it's coming in again.
