Motorola V810

does this phone have power save mode?

Is it just me or does everyone notice that we all ASK THE SAME OLD QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER????

My company got me a T730 and other than the known issues with the 720/730 handsets, I really do not like how sloppy the battery door/cover is. It creaks in my hand and gives the handset an overall cheesy feel. (so I forward all calls to my personal V60i)

If this one ain't better, the Audiovox 9900 might be a better choice.

Looking at the phone i dont see a FLASH for pics.

I work for verizon on the east coast and when i get definate confirmation of when this phone will be released, i'll be sure to let everyone know. I would like to know if the test guy from CA has any news on how the testing of this phone went and if he knows anything about a release date?

I have been waiting for a new phone for over 6 months now so if I have to wait another 30 or 60 days, I can hande that. Seems like this will be a pretty good phone. I just hope it has good battery life and higher resolution pictures than the other phones I have used.

I think I read 640X480 which would be great...not ideal, but good enough considering the lens is probably not that good anyway so the higher resolution would be useless.

Ive come to realize that emails from MOTOROLA regarding there phones mean absolutely nothing. I also posted a email i got from MOTOROLA. They stated in that email JANUARY is the set date for this phone.

I am anxiously anticipating the release of the V810, I believe its going to be a great phone. However, and\ insider source of mine @ Motorola PCS Sector tells me the V810 is not even scheduled to ship to Verizon until February 3rd. Meaning Verizon wont even distribute these phones to their dealers and corporate stores for at least a week after that. Sorry, but I would NOT hold my breath for a January release date.

I am still saying the phone will be out this month.......not FEBRUARY...Im calling out JANUARY!!!!

For many of us who have been waiting patiently for Motorola's v810, I stumbled upon a press release today with some very good news.

THE v880, which has not been well known at all and therefore there are very few pictures and information around the internet, will be released "early January"!

Guys all i can say is what i was told..... i was basically assured that the V810 along with 2 other phones is being released ....if im wrong sorry, but if im right, good for all.

But....If there is a Verizon test guy on the forum, help us out !!!I have an account with Verizon, and one with Nextel that im not switching till this phone comes out so i can the discount!!...Nextel service sucks!!

Just got word there is a new v60s being released dec26 from verizon, if u are a loyal fan of the v60 series like i am, this phone has the same speakerphone as the PTT phones but does not have the PTT ability, and the icing on the cake: it does get it now! No color screen though, but those are the only two things i've wished my v60i had. Now the decision remains should i wait for the v810 or go for the v60s? The v60s is going to be on limited basis and they will go very fast!!!!

Will this phone support Java, and if so, in what form (i.e. J2ME)? Also, should this be important for non-gaming business customers? Thanks!

Is it my imagination, or does this phone not have a headphone jack? Isn't that standard these days ?? That could be a big deal for some folks.
