does anyone know if it really went out yesterday ? i haven't gotten it yet

My Supervisor told me that there was a program out there that allowed you to create a Hotspot on your cell phone. He is not on Verizon, but is there a program that can be downloaded that will let you do this on the Motorola Droid.

I tried searching and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Is there a way to turn off the LED light for an email reminder? I just would like the light to come on for texts, but not emails I have received.

The Motorola Manual says that we can create groups, but does not say how. I found the ones under display options and the gmail account, but can't figure out how to use them.

Is there a way to keep the phone screen on longer? I find that when I make or answer a call, the screen goes black almost immediately after the connection is made. Then when I want to hang up, I have to jiggle the phone around to get the screen back on to find the "end" key to end the call.

Before doing the upgrade on Droidmod.org, there was a Mail icon on the Droid and I could get my Comcast e-mail, I don't see it any more. Has anyone else found this? Any suggestions on a program to buy that will allow this?

Spotted a Motorola DROID looking device in Mass Effect 2

I was playing the game on disc 2 on my xbox360
and part of the gear attached to a guy , looked exactly like a motorola DROID.

1. Is there a way to search the android market from your computer rather than searching for Apps on your phone only?

2. When using the dock, is there a way to limit which pictures are shown and which ones are not?

3. What are some of the free apps out there that you all recommend?

Thanks... I am picking up a droid today. I am done with my Samsung Omnia. I know that I won't be able to connect my exchange email anymore, but that is okay (my company has security policies that aren't supported at the moment). Any help or suggestions you can provide would be great!

I used to have a blackberry storm 1.
Had Drivesafe working on the BB for a while with no problems. It read aloud all my accounts.

Switched to the MotoDroid about a month ago.
been trying to get DriveSafe to work with my exchange email account, and after emailing their tech support a few times I finally was told.
"DriveSafe.ly works with Android 1.5 and higher,
and currently only supports POP3 and IMAP."
No exchange account support. DARN !!!

Oh well, at least I know why now.

Does any on know how to send a text to multiple recipients on the Droid Moto?

since everyone here says the 32 gigs are available can u please send me a link? not just a pic. also, yo mupi, you sit there and say "theres no need to have that much crap on a phone" wrong attitude my friend, i dont own an ipod, do u?,, just the fact that u call the droid a phone is an insult to it, since its a device first..also let me just say one last thing on how stupid it is to advertise a phone at 32, when the card isant available yet, and lets say it is available in 6 months or soo WHO CARES!! with the way technology moves today 64gigs will be out on the iphone then..stupid, stupid, stupid, i want the card

i did my own little test on youtube searches and of course the search on a real pc is not the same search on the droid when i type in jay z and the name of a song it pops right up on my pc, when i do the same thing on this stupid phone it gives me results that arent even close to what i was looking for anyone else realize this???

On this commercial it says it will search for songs in your music collect named or by human

I try the search bar for my music and it will bring up the music app... but not specific songs by title/artist/album nothing

anyone else get this to work on theirs?

The other day, all my texts suddenly disappeared from my phone. I had not reached anywhere near the limit of texts. I use Handcent, by the way. Has anyone else had this problem? Are they still somewhere on my phone or are they lost forever?

Twice recently, my DROID's 3G indicator disappeared and I was dropped off the data network. The first time this happened, I called customer service, and they recommended I try placing a call with my phone. Seeing I mostly use it as a texting and internet device, that refreshed my data connection at the hub/switch.
The second time this occured, I tried the phone call trick, and it did not work. I tried toggling Airplane mode on and off. That did not work. I tried shutting down and pulling the battery. That didn't work. Finally, I powered up my phone and then did a battery pull while it was running, waited a few minutes, replaced the battery and restarted the phone. My 3G was back online. 🙂

Was just wondering if anyone knew of any tricks to save a pic off the net drectly to the phone like from google images or something seems like it would be easier enough

MUPI...i to thought u left so havent asked any questions..glad to see your still here 😁. had a question about viewing the info on my sd card....shows me the available space and stuff like that but is there a way to see what exactly is on that sd card without having to plug the phone into the computer????
