Sprint and Verizon BlackBerry Curve Now Delayed to May 15th

www.phonenews.com is now reporting Sprint and Verizon have begun circulating internal memos stating that the launch of the respective versions of the BlackBerry Curve have been pushed back due to software issues. The problem has been pinpointed to a bug in the firmware that causes the device to freeze and lock up after using data-intensive applications after only seven minutes of use. 🙄

THANKS SPRINT.......for leading us down the path to being LAST!

Well it officially happened. Sprint customers are once again LAST to receive new technology. All major cell carriers have the Curve for sale except for Sprint. It would be alright if there was a light at the end of the tunnel but There is not even an inkling as to when the correct release date is. Sprint customers are in a cave with falling rocks threatening to close the opening. Sprint, Why are you so secretive about the release? Why if you ask different people at Sprint about the release date they all give different answers. Why is Sprint last again when you could have been first (CDMA) carrier? Sprint get on the ball. You say you want to keep your customer base. Well with the absolutely most anticipated release of a phone in a...

It’s ok, you can say it… Finally! Verizon Wireless customers won’t have to wait much longer for the BlackBerry Curve 8330 that we’ve known to be coming to the nation’s largest CDMA carrier for quite some time. Of course this news is a bit overshadowed by all of the BlackBerry juice we’ve been feeding you lately, but it will still come as good news to those of you waiting for a solid upgrade on VZW. According to several reports and a bunch of emailed tips we’ve received (thanks guys), here’s how it’ll go down:

* Friday, May 9th: 8330 available through B2B, telephone sales and on the web
* Monday, May 12th: 8330 available through all other channels

The price point will reportedly be ...
