The 9th it is!
I just called my local Sprint Store here in Atlanta and asked about the Curve. He put me on hold for about 10 mins when he came back to the phone he stated that they do have the Blackberry Curve 8330 in Stock but they are not allowed to sell them before they check them in tonight. So the wait is now over! So I guess I will have to send that Verizon version back to Verizon 😁

Curve Release Update
I just got off the phone with Retention and the Rep stated to me that the Launch Date is the 9th for the RED Curve Only. He did not see any information on the Titanium Curve at all. So I guess thats good news for the people who want the curve and everyone else will have to wait a bit longer for the Titanium version to come out.

Sprints Simply Everything Plan for the Curve is $139.99
The $99.99 simply everything plan works with the Curve but you also need to add a $39.99 plan on top of the $99.99 SEP.
Thought you should know before you order the phone. $140.00 per month plus taxes is pretty expensive.

Worth Waiting?
I really want to buy the VZW Curve now but do you think it would be smart to wait a month or two for them to fix any bugs? Is there any concern in buying the first release of a new phone? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

RINGER - Can you hear it RING??
A very serious fault of the 8830 World phone was that unless you had Sound Forge or some other waveform editor to boost the Waveform gain, the phone could NOT be HEARD ringing.
After you created a ringer tone, you could then upload it to the phone. Now you'd have n audible ringer. Also, the vibration engine sucks... in the 8830. IMHO.
Question for you OWNERS of the NEW 8330:
Can you hear the ringer?
Will it vibrate your teeth?

The Titanium Curve will be available through Direct Ship May 9th
BlackBerry® Curve┞¢ 8330 in Titanium is currently scheduled to launch through Direct Ship May 9. That is from an email from Sprint to a Sprint Employee me. It will be in stores May 12th.
