Is the fact that this phone is Rev.0, not Rev.A or Rev.A upgradeable a big deal?

What exactly is Rev. A? I asked a person from Verizon Wireless on the phone, and she said that Rev. A means that it isn't in stores yet. She also said that once it's available in stores then Rev. A will be taken off.
I don't if she was right or not. It sounded like she was a little unsure when she said it all to me.

Rev-A means it has faster internet and data speed capability. The curve will be Rev-O for both Verizon and Sprint.

Rev. A is actually in reference to the type of signal the phone is able to send and receive.
