http://www.thesprintstore.net took the Curve off.

Yesterday http://www.thesprintstore.net was pre-selling the Curve 8330 and today there is not a mention of it. I wonder what happened.

What about Verizon

Everyone's talking about sprint, what about VZW? Does anyone know when we can get the new Curve through Verizon? I talked to Customer Service today and they couldn't give me any info.

Sprint Blackberry Curve appears in Best Buy's Mobile Buyer's Guide for May.

Here is a link to the Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330 in the Best Buy Mobile Buyer's Guide for May. Price is $199.99 after all rebates (regular price $749.99). Seems odd that Best Buy would be $20.00 more than Sprint directly. In any event the ad says the prices are valid May 1 to May 31. This is starting to look good for all the Sprint Blackberry Curve enthusiast's....

If you get the Sunday circular or go to the website, they have the Sprint curve on it for $179.99. I called the local store(chicago) and he said they were suppose to have it already and dont.

GPS + VZ Nav???

I know Verizon has had BB configure the software so that GPS is disabled unless you subscribe to VZ Navigator. The software is BB very secure, basically impossible to crack (that's why gov't and corporate love it), so there's no tweaking of the Windows Mobile variety. That being said....Does that mean if I should subscribe to VZ Navigator will I then also be able to have access to the GPS hardware to use a third party GPS program in addition? There is no replacement for VZ Nav, it's sweet, but it needs some help in the GPS department sometimes. Someone please give me some help. Perhaps Pearl users know the answer. Thanks.

Pissed

I'm so pissed I just found out there was a Blackberry training last week some time and the people that went had to fill out this form and they're now getting the Curve for free!!!! I am the Blackberry champion in my store and I'm really upset that my manager didn't make it known to send me that there was going to be a meeting. I'm so pissed that not only do I have to pay for my own Curve but he knew I was waiting on this phone from day one. The people that went to the training didn't get their blackberries yet of course but I was going to pressure my manager to get intouch with the guy that's in charge to put me on that list and do some type of one on one training so I would be the Curve champ in my store. 😈 😈

The Simply Everything Plan...

I've been lurking for about a year now on this site, but the one thing that drove me out of hiding were these rumors about the Simply Everything Plan ending on May 31st. While, I guess I can see where the confusing comes from...the thing is, ALL OF SPRINT PLANS END ON THE 31st. We generally keep plans, phone prices, and any accessory specials for about 45 days and then either extend them or change them. So, for example, the Power Pack 450 plan is going to expire (like it has always done) about 45 days after the last expiration date. Then Sprint Corporate goes on to the next month and a half with another expiration date. If you noticed, the buy one get one half off accessory deal ended after 45 days and so changed were the prices of the phone...

for all those people logging on and chatting with sprint customer care.......

how about getting a life......

instead of logging onto customer care chats of other providers and wasting time with dumb questions. its people like you that make customer service reps irritable and aggravated. they need to be dealing with issues that are relevant and worth their time.

Sprint is not being very truthful.

Below is a copy of a chat I just had with a Sprint representative. I am a Verizon customer right now and if this is the way Sprint does business maybe I should stay with Verizon.
