my outlook will not send me calendar reminders

ever since i got the blackberry, when i try to send a reminder i get a message saying the following: There is a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders may not appear. Cannot locate recurrance information for this appointment" then another box pops up stating "Operation Failed"

After searching under Google groups, I noticed that we are not alone in this problem occurance. There are several threads asking for a solution to this issue.

Can you suggest a solution?

I am so frustrated. They occasionally show up, but usually way past when I needed the reminder.

Which settings may be wrong and require changing?

New Phone Finder features!

I'm pleased to announce that the Phone Finder here on Phone Scoop has just been enhanced with several much-requested features:

  • Feature Exclude. You can now choose "Exclude" for most features in the feature list, to find phones without that feature. People have been requesting this so they can search for phones without cameras. Now you can.

  • Feature Detail Searching. You can now search on camera resolution, high-speed data technology, and memory card type.

  • Compare checkboxes. Now you can use the Phone Finder to do a broad search, then check off the phones you like, and click "Compare" at the bottom to jump straight to a complete side-by-side comparison.

Also, the side-by-side Compare feat...

Accesories?

Why doesn't Phonescoop.com (as great a site as it is) have an accesories section? That'd be awesome. I guess there are just too many to review?

One More Suggestion (Coverage Maps)

I was wondering if it was possible to put the carriers separate coverage maps on this site as well. Possibly interactive as well. The location i currently work at is limited to Verizonwireless.com and Phonescoop.com. So it would be valuable to me to be able to see each separate carriers map. Links to the carriers website are great but in my situation im unable to view them.
Thanks for the quick responses,
Paul

Ability to make Polls

I would like this site to have the ability to make polls. I would like to be able ask a multiple choice question and have each user be able to answer once. Mostly to find people opinions in a percentage base.

The "Free iPod" thing...

For the record, any messages promoting "Free iPods", or any similar schemes, are strictly prohibited by the Terms of Use.

The relevant clause is:

Although the free iPod stuff isn't necessarily a scam or spam, it is most definitely a pyramid scheme, which has always been prohibited, as long as this site has had a Terms of Use.

So if you've posted such a message and had it deleted, that is why.

Suggestion

I noticed there is not a link to Cellular South. I know they are big down here, but I know how big you have to be on this site. They offer unlimited plans for 49.99. Uses CDMA.

Edit option

I'm kind of new to this forum, but have been browsing and posting regularly since I joined. One major set back is not being able to edit a post that's already been posted...especially when simple mistakes are made and you just want to delete the post altogether.

Forgive me if this has already been posted...but since I don't see this...I'm guessing it hasn't. Thanks!

PS- This is a great website...keep up the awesome work 😁

Page jump

I was wondering if you had plans to put in a list of pages so we didn't have to go through 5 pages to get to page 6? Keep up the good work. 🙂

Carrier positions

Im guessing Cingular got moved to the left/top of Verizon Wireless in the forums/carriers list due to the merger going through and it now being the largest wireless provider....but if thats the case, why is AT&T still listed 3rd?

I know its a dorky meaningless question, but i find it interesting.

Verizon Motorola V710 email client

😢

I came to Phone Scoop to investigate the v710 from Verizon. I was thrilled when I saw on your website that the v710 had an email client for POP3, IMAP and SMTP. It was part of the reason I ended up going with the V710 when we moved to Verizon.

After purchasing the v710, I found out that Verizon does not offer the email client with the phone (even though the rep said that it had the client on it). Even in Motorola's literature I haven't been able to find any mention of an email client.

Does someone have some inside info for me? I would love to be proven that my research was wrong.

Thanks, Skippy__1

QUESTION: Unlocking SIM on Nokia 6010 AT&T Wireless

Hi - My SIM card is locked on my Nokia 6010 from AT&T Wireless. I want to unlock it so I can download my phonebook to it. I tested the backup/download on a Samsung T-Mobile and a Nokia Voicestream, so I have narrowed it down to the SIM card in the phone. I don't need a phone unlocking code, just SIM unlocking.

I hope someone can help me!

Thanks!

phonescoop.com :: Feature Request (again)

Okay I thought of another one today that would be handy..

I'm probably like most people here in that, when waiting for a specific phone to come out or information on that phone, I troll it's message board.

It would be nice to have a list of the last several phones you visited somewhere below the logged in as prompt.

This way when I come back to the site to check on the phone of my choice, I can just click the link for it below previously visited phones... And not have to surf through the phone finder, or the phones feature.

This feature can easily be done with a couple cookies, or you could use PHP to stuff the MySQL DB with each visit.. but that seems silly, I mean why waste DB calls.
