I want the V600 so bad but - I'm going crazy trying to pick a phone and service, so here's my question for you/ all, I'd really appreciate some expert input:

I'm a not yet a sub for either cing or att right now - I'm thinking of going with the T616 thru cingular b/c I really want a hot phone SOON as well as the conveience of BT, AND ATT is not so great in Western NY right now. Then I'd just wait a while for the v600 for cingular to come out (I'll buy it out right). I would imagine that any tic tac problems encountered with the newer ATT version would be worked out by the time it hit Cing?

Any thoughts? Besides, do I want an ATT branded phone that could on Vodafone or Cingular in a year? How would a merger affect service, branding, cus...

🙄 Bigmac do you think that since the bidding war is over now, that should speed up the release of the v600 especially since it was due to go out to ATT from earlier this month? just a thought.

I accidentally deactivated my voicemail from my phone, thanks to the OUTDATED call forwarding instructions at Cingular.com. Apparenty *720 deactivates the voicemail. How do I activate and deactivate my voicemail dialing directly a code from my phone. One hour in customer services and I still have no voicemail and no codes 🙄

anybody know if cingular will be carrying the nokia 6620 and when will it be out?

For the last three weeks I have been trying to send txt messages internationally they never get there... I can receive message but not send them.

When I called CS, of course, I got no help they said everything looks ok ...BUT it does not work.

Anybody had similar experience ?

Just swithced two lines from T-Mobile to Cingular and having issues. I will post the full expereince on another post, but had a quick question for Congular people.

On both lines we cannot access our VM to listen to messages we have received. The passwords are not working, even the original default passowrd was not working. Anyone have a suggestion as to what I cna tell Cingular Tech Support next time I speak with them. After spening over 2 hours on the phone, they said they would have to find someone highe rup to help troubleshoot the problem. Any info you might have woudl be appreciated.

In my opinion i would recommend not buying a cell phone off the net, because you are going to start having the problems that some of these people are talking about.

GO to a physical store Agent/Dealer/Company store, get everything in writing and everything activated that day. That way if anything goes wrong you have somewhere to go to talk to someone's face not someone's voice or their email. And you know you will get a response right then, not a few days later, and also you will receive your merchandise right then, now 2 weeks later!
