GMail works well on the iPhone. I have a Verizon iPhone4 setup with my Gmail contacts through a CardDav account. I have my emails come through the GMail setup built into the phone. I used to have everything setup through the Exchange setup but once the CardDav method was available I switched everything over. I also have my calendar setup through GMail.
I used to keep everything through iCloud on the phone, but I changed everything over to Google Syncing ...
Not so new...
Hasn't this plan been out for a while? Like before around the holidays...

The price really isn't that bad. It adds Wi-Fi, trackpad and doubles the memory to 512. The phone also adds Open GL Support and is most likely upgradeable to OS 6.0 as well as the well known Webkit browser that is currently used on the iPhone and Android.
I'm intrigued by this phone. I have a Tour on Verizon and am anxiously waiting for this phone on Sprint.

Yes unfortunately, all KRZRs are like this. I can easily type out a whole message and then have to wait for the phone to catch up to me.
I've actually have gotten used to it considerably., that is until I used my friend's 6133 to type a text on.
The reason for it being slow it the processor on the phone can't handle all the functions smoothly.

The RAZR is actually being replaced by the RAZR 06. Same exact phone except it has EDGE and supposedly a plastic cover for the battery instead of metal.

Buy a phone through tmobile with the highest resale value, get your contract, and sell it on ebay and put your money towards an unlocked phone.

You said you are in the NE. I just left Verizon again to come back to T-Mobile.
T-Mobile coverage is about 90-95% of what Verizon is in the NYC area (esp Brooklyn and Manhattan).
T-Mobile EDGE data does not compare to Verizon 3G. Dial-up like speeds on T-Mobile compared to Broadband speed on Verizon.
3G is supposed to be launching soon on T-Mobile but who knows. They are supposed to be releasing a new Samsung t639 on 8/1 that is supposed ...

The absolutely horrible customer service. I've been trying since July 2 to return the phone I bought through telesales. I've been hung up on 2x and everytime I call I get a different answer.
The service seemed ok the few days I used it with the Sanyo 8400...but customer service made me regret everything.

Had the phone for 1 week so I can sum it up...
-Lost reception where other phones I've used in the same spot held onto service (ie RAZR, KRZR, MAXX Ve, 8300, 8600, 9900, 6315i)
-Battery is absolutely ridiculous (goes from 2 bars right to flashing low battery with little to no usage)
-Verizon Flash UI is nice (3 themes to choose from)
-Small
-Wide but flat keypad; lit up a nice bright white
-Texts can be read on external display when auto read is ...

I left Verizon to go to Sprint but for whatever reason they couldn't port my number so I quickly came back to Verizon.
After being with Verizon on my last contract for about 3-4 months I ported to T-Mobile and payed the ETF. I was with T-Mobile for about 5 months and came back to Verizon again.
Believe it or not - I'm thinking of maybe paying the prorated ETF again with Verizon so that I can go back to T-Mobile ...

Last time I checked I'm pretty cool and everyone is always going oooh or ahhh over my EnV phone.
Let a celebrity ask to use my phone when their TMobile/Cingular/Sprint phone isn't working and let them go ooooh or aaah as my phone works and holds the call while looking cool while opening my keyboard phone.

Sorta true. You can charge all you want for the most part but don't let it charge for more than 24hrs continuousely.

I had the krzr for 2 days and it was such a pos. The reception was less than thrilling, and the keypad was already making marks on the internal screen. I swapped it out for the 8600 and couldn't be happier. The reception is better, the clarity is better and the flash ui is a welcome change as well. In addition, everytime I pull the phone out I get oooohs and ahhhhs.

Or you can go to audacity, cut your ringtone into a 30 second tone, then send it via a picture message or through bitpim with a data cable or bluetooth.

It's called GSM UNLOCKED AND UNBRANDED if you don't like what T-Mobile has to offer. Also, the RIZR is coming out 3/12 and the Nokia 5300 is coming 2/28 and T-Mobile will be launching their 3G network very soon = new handsets and new features.

My friend just got one. This is what I did to her phone cause she told me to set it up for her. She charges it every other day and she said it's pretty good this way.
1. Turn off all screensavers
2. Backlight settings to the minimum.
3. Pictures kept to a minimum if possible.
There was one other thing I did but I don't remember what I did.

I didn't buy any cables, software, etc to get mp3 files loaded.I'm currently using Sandisk. You may need a card reader if your computer doesn't have a slot. My computer has slots for memory cards so I didn't need to buy a reader.
