Help Software issues

Is there anyway you can reload the software for this phone trough Blue-tooth or anything like that. Cause my phones screen is messed up and I think it is a software problem cause half of the options wont show while others will. And sometimes the phone will work for a brief second. If you please help. THank You

Can anyone get Java games to install?

I tried downloading a 140k java game, and this stupid phone says "document too large."

I have downloaded MP3 ringers that are about 400k. I guess they might have a lower limit for Java aps, but this doesn't seem like a very large file and it would seem extremely weird for a phone with 22MB of memory to have such a low limit.

Underwhelmed, and 2 quick questions

I just started a two year contract with T-Mobile and got this phone, and to be honest I'm underwhelmed.
But maybe I'm not understanding the phone, and I was wondering if you guys could help me with 3 questions I had:

1) How do you turn on the front lcd display (ie, the small display showing time and field strength, located on the front of the phone, in black and white) WITHOUT opening the phone?
Say you're sitting in a movie theater and you'd like to check the time, but don't want to open the phone and flood the whole room with light, is there anyway to turn on the front display without opening the phone?

2) How do you change the settings on the phone so that the front display is on for a longer period of time? Right now, I know that...

Phone Book

What gives with the Samsung Stripe's phone book? Even though you can enter multiple phone numbers (cell, home, office) under one name, the phone book only shows one number (by default its the cell phone number if provided). So, if you typically call someones home number you have to go deep into the phone book rather than simply scrolling down to the name and push the call button.

Additionally, there is no icon or any other indicator to tell the user there are multiple entries under someone's name.

Any ideas?

It's called the "Stripe"

...and it follows nicely in the Samsung tradition of "add a feature, drop a feature, call it something new" It's a t319 with samller display, but bluetooth. In fact, it is also the t619 minus the 1.3 megapixel camera, plus rounded edges...need I continue?

Euro-Twin version

Any further information on this phone can be found as well with the European version Samsung E-570 (Red-Stripe). Triband and the color are the main differences.

Everyone is talking so much about the iPhone but how comfortable would typing actually be on this phone?? I see Jobs and the Apple CEO doing everything else except for typing a text message. makes me wonder.........

What's the point of live video sharing?

Why would you only want to see what the other person is seeing, but not the other person? You can easily have a true video conferencing phone, yet you don't want manufacturers to have a lens on the inside or at least one that rotates to face the user? And if you turn the phone around so the other person can see you, then you can't see them.. catch 22. Answer me this Cingular.

Whats up with the Dull Gray Color?

Why is TMO getting these dull gray color Samsung phones? ๐Ÿ˜• The T619, Trace,t629 and the t719 are all gray. The Trace and the t629 don't look too bad but Im just use to all of TMO's being so colorful. They need to stick to that. ๐Ÿคจ

SGH-T329

What is the big deal if it appears to be on the outside like the Motorola PEBL??? Performance is what counts, not flash or pizazz. Everyone has their own likes, wants, when it comes to a phone. The proof is in the pudding when it comes out. ๐Ÿ˜

PEBL Knockoff

It's obvious what Samsung is trying to do with the monchrome verticle display, VGA camera, and rounded shape.

Where is 3G???

How could Apple not make this 3G compatable? Unbelievable!

Cingular does not offer a wireless Air Card for Macs. If this phone was 3G it would be a great option for thethering to use as a modem for a laptop.

Even so - if the phone is so interet capable, why make it for the very slow Edge network?

I am not a buyer until it is 3G capable.

It is probably best to wait until Apple works the bugs out anyway. The first iPods had quality issues.
