CPU speed.
Does anyone know the CPU speed on the Bold 9700? I have looked all over and can not find it.
Hardware specs
I wanted to know if you have hardware specs for the G1? You know like CPU speed and if it will have a GPU or if it will be a single chip platform?

I am guessing that this is going to have the same 312Mhz Intel CPU as the 8700. Does anyone know for sure?
Sidekick 2?
Is it just me or is this the Sidekick 2 in Sidekick 3 clothing? The one defferance that I can see is 850mhz band vs 900mhz in the Sidekick 2. Well It did look like it was running the Hiptop 3 OS. Did I miss something?

It looks almost just like the A630 one of the worst phones that I ever got for free. It was so bad that I tried to give it back the the Moto rep who gave it to me.
If I was going to copy a phone that would not be real high up on the list.

If you count all of the T-Mobile customers around the world, every carrier is really small. Last I heard that was about 85 mil customers in '05
T-Mobile has network in 10-13 differant parts of the world.

The company has a relationship with Cingular, though it’s strictly marketing for now, but carriers are way more squeamish about copyright issues than YouTube’s recent acquirer Google.

NTP is a patent holding company. My understanding is that the patent was bought from someones estate. Also NTP as a patent hoplding company will never release products on it's own. They would however sale the rights to gain revenue. The trouble is they are really late to the game. Where was all of this 5 or more years ago, when "wireless email" started to come about. Rich or Eric can you clear this up?

Why would T-Mo want it? They have the BB 8100 and the SDA. I know I would rather have a S60 device. The point is that it is really not smart to carry two high end devices that are so closely matched. If they did pick it up that would give them three devices that are really about the same.

Whatever. Suretype is great for for peeps like me who do not spell very well. I wish that I had waited. I can say that the new hardware for the 8700 is really great. I have anything not had any lockups or anything of the sort. It is good stuff for sure.

It is a bit longer when the x495. It is also a lot like the t809. The only bunk thing is that the mp3 player is not as loud though the speakerhphone. I still think that it is a great phone.

I can't wait for that one! I am really sick of the smug look on the Allsmell reps faces. They know that T-Mobile and Verizon kick there butts all day long. Come on how long did it take for them to get ANY wireless data? They just got phone browsers what about 2 years ago??? Until 3 years ago they did not even have SMS with other providers.

Why would you do that when you can roam for free on all plan save one. My mom lives in NC and we used the M2M all day long... Talk with CC and they will help you out.
EDGE
The T-509 does have two things that the SVLR does not have. EDGE and the great Samsung UI. The UI is so slick and easy to use! I could show anyone how to get around in the menus in mins.

Well you almost had it right... To the best of my knowledge, you must have an UMA ready Wi-Fi router. I don't know of any routers that are software upgradeable.
JAVA
Rich I have played with the SDA and it does JAVA games. Other points of interest are Flash support and Shockwave support (with PC DL then activesync). This also will have full support for MS exchange push email. I was upset that it did not have UMA and that the speaker phone was not as good as the SKII or the BB7105t. The RF was great!

I dont' know what you are talking about... T-Mo was the first company in the US to sale phones with BT, VID CAM, and Symbian... The Nokia 3650/3660. That was what, 2 years ago. T-Mo until now always had he best phones. Right now they are the budget company. If you want a good phone buy something unlocked, or wait for the Nokia E 70... T-Mo is just waiting on the the QUAD BAND version.

Well the only dealers that VZW has that I know of are owned by ******** ***** Inc... I have been offered a job there about 5 times and I never took the job. Something just seemed off about getting no hourly pay, salary, or benifits (you don't even get the real emp phone plan). They only pay commisions but that makes you 1099 for tax reasons (and it is taxed as a bonus=40% tax a the least ...
