We may luck up and see a S60 version. That would be great. Once you have a smartphone you never want to go back.

I havn't had a Nokia since the 5170i in 2002 (I don't know why I never went back) but this phone really appeals to me.

By the way, I'm annoying when it comes to these things thanks to my friend Nicole, and there is a typo in the story:

"an media player" instead of "a media player". I know big error, right? But still...

I think "a media player" is the correct usage of the indefinite article. See definition below. Sorry, I couldn't resist. 🙄

BTW - Haven't seen a Nokia phone that hasn't disappointed me.

INDEFINITE ARTICLE

A / AN

Use 'a' with nouns starting with a consonant (letters that are not vowels),
'an' with nouns starting with a vowel (a,e,i,o,u)

Examples:

A boy
An apple
A car
An orange
A house
An opera

NOTE:
An before an h mute - an hour, an honour.
A before u and eu when they sound like 'you': a european, a university, a unit

We're not... but the way some people mutliate the language, they should go back.

An occasional mistake is completely understandable, since nobody's perfect. When native speakers/writers of the language completely butcher it, they make themselves look like complete and utter idiots.

I'm sorry; I'll stop ranting now.

If you can continue to throw out proper uses of semi-colons feel free to rant away.

Yeah, semi-colons always throw me for a loop. Much more difficult than commas. Wait...are we off topic? 🙄

In the continuing quest for accuracy, I should note that you misspelled "mutilate" 😉

Ok like I said... the story used to say "an media player" and my post was to tell rich to change it to "a". You people here in Phonescoop need to look for something else to do besides flame posters. Thats why I post at WirelessAdvisor...

No it used to say "an media player" and my post was to say that he should change it to "a". I'm fluent in both English and Portuguese and I don't have language issues.

Can somebody let Nokia know that I will buy this phone in a freakin heartbeat. You're right about the nokia smartphones. The only reason I am getting rid of my 6600 is because my job wants me to carry a blackberry as well, so I need a smaller phone.
