Re: Cust's recording calls
:) I have an idea why dont you check policy which clearly states that cust may record our calls and we are to allow them to do so, and thank them for asking/informing us. that is ATTWS policy why dont you read it some time if you are a rep like you say,
Re: AWS reps and PCO's
when i was going through training I was specific told by the site director, "this is not a sales job, you will not be doing sales" he said this in front of entire class, and now look at us, "you will make xx amount of sales and you will offer on every call or you will be pinned and possibly terminated,
Re: ATTWS North American Package
that's Rogers Wireless, Rogers no longer uses the AT&T name in there business, they have severed any official ties with AT&T, although there is still a roaming agreement in place
Re: Cust's recording calls...WHY NOT???
giggle, giggle, let's see a dealer those are the ones who add mobile assist to the 9 year olds phone, or are they the ones who tell a cust "yep your phone is setup" just go home be ready in 20 mins, forgetting to program the phone, or telling them it can take 24 hours for everything to switch over, ya mr dealer why dont you start,
Re: 7pm n/w
Earlier NW is on hold until further notice while the NW team revamps everything associated with it, if it even goes forward at all anymore, this is after many centres did training on it:D
Re: Alpha Tag's and the MLife National Plan
If you can stop being such a pinhead for long enough read the plan description under offers. "The main benefit of the mLIFE National plans is that calls made in any AWS market are treated as a local call with no roaming or long distance" that is a direct quote, under plan description, what does it say, Any call ,Any AWS market, If you call 611 and get a aws op, then you are on our towers, that makes ...
Re: Alpha Tag's and the MLife National Plan
actually brain surgeon wannabe the national plan is based upon who's network you are on, it's the national plan not the DOR
Re: Return policy question
i disagree i have yet to see where it requires you keeping that phone on service, and i have done it personally and helped many cust,s in CC, so where do you get this policy from
Re: Alpha Tag's and the MLife National Plan
how about if you are in our area you will get attws cust care, if you are not on our network you will get someone elses CC, duh
Re: Alpha Tag's and the MLife National Plan
The alpha tag is not a good indicator, the map is not that great either, phoning 611 is the best way for nat plan,
Re: Return policy question
A contract states you keep service, it does not matter what phone you use,
you can use whatever phone you want as long as it is compatable with our service, use any phone you want
Re: for the at&t reps out there
Victoria B.C. (West Corp) for ATTWS
Re: The coverage area for the mLife National plan
*DO NOT GO BY ALPHA TAG, and if you are in your hca and billed roaming most CC reps will credit you if you are in the gold area on map, i do it every day and i am in Cust Care

New Offer
AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE) today announced an offer - the first of its kind -- that can give new and current customers on qualifying plans the freedom to make unlimited domestic mobile-to-mobile calls at no charge to any of the company's nearly 22 million customers.
Re: The "Same 12 people" ,.
If you had any idea what you were talking about someone might take you a bit more serious, oh my you used to be a customer, that does not mean you know anything about AWS, it only means you may have had one bad experience with Customer Care, You are one person out of many who come here, and more people have started coming to ATTWS then leaving, I have had 23 people come to AWS today on shift ...

Re: AT&T Buyout/Merger
found out that our company has a contract with AWS and that there is a clause as with all others that if aws is sold or merged that the new company has to honour the contract with our call centre, since it is like a 10 year contract we are safe for a while yet
AT&T Buyout/Merger
So AT&T has announced that it is entertaining offers for a buy out or a merger, It has confirmed this now, So tell me what is your best guess, Will the people who work at 3rd Party Call Centres be looking for a new job, or will the company that ends up with this in the end still use the call centres, and what's your guess for a timeline on this,
Re: AWS National Plan
ya that is pretty much how i do it,
so what do you think about the "at&t announcement" that it is entertaining takeover/merger announcements does that mean that 3rd party call centres like ours will be out of a job shortly,
Re: Why stick with AT&T?
We sure do, but just like every other carrier it would require a contract extension
Re: New N/W Times!!!
nw times will be changing soon as well though
Re: Is AT&T dead?
I have an incentive for overtime, it's called getting paid overtime and I have been doing alot if it lately, and yes the hold time is way way way to long, if i had to get hold of CC i would be screaming, people have a right to be upset at the wait time,
Rogers AT&T Customer Care Question
wondering if anyone is a CC Rep for Rogers, and how it is working for them, i currently work for west.
Re: The Top Carrier!!

Re: Points to consider for our "beloved" AWS dealers.
Oh Nuwisha thank you, you have said what I think multiple times every day well working in the call centre, and I have in fact had a 13 yr old with Mobile Asisst that they didnt even know what it was, and yes Wireless Office on minors accts as well, thank you for saying what many of us feel
