AT&T (in america) has for an extra $9.99 no roaming etc. in canada..

does anyone know if that includes N/W and if that includes long distance to america..

I know what it says on the website, what I want to hear it from people who used their phone there and got bills...

(b/c the fine print is not clear, and every person I speak to there, tells me somthing else)

Actually, if you are on the Digital One Rate Plan, you can add the call Canada feature for 19.99, which will eliminate roaming and ld charges in Canada.

it doesn't ELIMINATE roaming, it just allows coverage while under AT&T Wireless network, AND the Rogers AT&T Wireless network in Canada (If you're on the mlife national plan)

The DOR plan for GSM allows the 9.99 extra, but if you are on TDMA service, its 19.99 and doesnt work for the national plan.

but while on the Rogers network, do you get charged long distance for calling the US?

and do you get free N/W?

that's Rogers Wireless, Rogers no longer uses the AT&T name in there business, they have severed any official ties with AT&T, although there is still a roaming agreement in place
