Why do some customers not understand security...
We had a customer come into the store to purchase a phone and when we get to the end of the transaction and tell this person his total he hands us a check. The customer is a male and the check has the name of a female at the top. We tell this customer that in order to run a check through the ECA, he must have the check writer here with a photo ID and he instantly goes ...
Re: So Funny!
That might have been a customer that was in our store, he threatened to kill me and blow up our store.
Re: only on nexus S .. on Sprint
The Nexus S 4G has the NFC capability required to use this feature. I believe we will start seeing this feature expand to more devices in the very near feature, but even with the Nexus S being the only device to support it, the app has over 100k downloads. Google is also loading new accounts with $10 just for setting it up.
Re: Well it's about time
You can't argue with the results, but that shows one city only. I guarantee that I could focus on one city as well and come to the exact opposite results.
It Happens...
I am an employee of Sprint and ran into the same issue awhile back, just vice versa. I was baffled at the beginning of the interaction, our customer had that number for several months prior and now it was a Verizon number. I contacted Verizon customer care with the customer in the store, this endless line of transfers lasted over 2 hours because nobody had dealt with this exact situation before and ended at the Verizon port department. I ...
Re: Already Solved
Those customers can take their phones into any Sprint service and repair center and the phones will be fixed.
Re: Keep the evo or go blackberry again
I work in a retail store for Sprint and received the Evo. I used the Evo for about 2 months but decided to go back to Blackberry and purchased the Bold. The main factor was battery life. The battery life on my Evo was not bad, but typically I'd get a full day of usage from the Evo. With my Blackberry I can go 2-3 days without having to charge it.
Evo Pros:
Web Browsing
Picture Quality
Apps
Evo Cons:
Size
Battery Life
Messaging On Touchscreen ...
Re: Another Great Name...
I had a customer introduce himself as Ford Butram (Pronounced Buh-Tram) and never thought anything of it. Went to run the application for the customer and asked for his ID. His full name was Gayford Butram.
Blackberry Messenger Exchange For Wireless Employees
I always find it interesting to talk to other wireless employees, so if you feel the same post your BBM Pin up to chat.
I'll start. My name is Steve and I am a retail employee for Sprint. I have been there for about 2 years and worked for Verizon Wireless in the past as well. Hit me up if you want to chat: 3249F9CE
Re: Basic Flip Phone
In my opinion, I think the Sanyo 3810 is by far the best flip phone out for Sprint right now. The battery life is fantastic, the reception is great and overall its just a killer phone.
Re: good ole store reps....
Sounds like it works both ways haha. We have customer care reps direct customers to our store everyday for things they know are out of our hands. Its frustrating, I know where your coming from.
Exactly...
Just a little sarcasm to show a point. Its not a big deal, if you are not doing any illegal activites then you don't have anything to worry about.
Ridiculous!
First the lady at the BMV told me I have to put this piece of metal on the front and back of my car, just so they knew it was allowed to be on the road and could trace who it belonged to. And now this! What kind of world are we living in?
Re: lol yeah... that's why Sprint is #1. Attitudes like that.
Wow, just remember not all of us have the same thought pattern as him. If someone purchases their phone through another location and then comes into the store with questions, do I help them to the best of my ability, just like my own customers? Without a doubt.
Yes it can be frustrating because of the possibility of losing out on other sales, but that is why we are paid base plus commission. A customer is a customer, whether you ...
Re: Sprint credit check process
While I do not totally agree with the $4.99/month charge for the ASL program, the program itself is great. I have seen first hand where it does come into play and saved customer a lot of money.
Re: Sprint credit check process
Yes he can go into any Sprint store or call into customer care and they can submit his application and let him know exactly what he is approved for and if he has any sort of deposit.
There would be no benefit to buy the phone at full retail price in his situation because he would still have the credit check and an agreement.
As far as the account spending limit, he may be approved for service but be on an ...
Blame the media...
Sprint has said the 2.1 update would be released in Q2 from the start, blame the journalists and anyone else who has been hyping up the rumors that it may be sooner.
Re: Data card to Mi-Fi
It works just like a phone line, if you are eligible for an upgrade by any chance, even your one year upgrade, then you would receive a discount. If not, then you would be looking at the full retail price of the MiFi. Hope this helps!
Re: Spending Limit Program Charge
One thing to take into consideration is that not every customer is on the Spending Limit Program.
Re: update
Today.
Like the previous poster said...
...it really all depends on what you plan on doing most with your phone. If you just want a phone for voice calls I would suggest the LG 370. It is a fairly basic slider phone with great battery life and still packs quite a few extra features too.
What happens to customers in the iPCS market?
I am a Sprint customer in the iPCS market, how is this going to affect me? I know the service will remain the same, but what will happen to the local store I always go to? I am very comfortable with that store and its employees. Will it close down? Will it just officially be a Sprint store now? Will the current staffing be the same or will they replace everyone? Sorry for so many questions, just curious on ...
Re: I HEARD
Sorry its probably a little too far for you, I'm in Ohio.
Re: I HEARD
Exactly, partying tonight and tomorrow and then Monday is to get everything that needs to be done finished. Party at my place tonight, everyone is invited!
Re: I HEARD
I also have the next two days off! Its about time I get two days off in a row...
Re: Weird "flirtatiouse" cx's :o
Yeah I work in a store, I guess that would get old pretty quick working in a call center and constantly being watched over...
Re: Weird "flirtatiouse" cx's :o
Better over the phone than in person though, right?
Offered a job at Sprint (iPCS)...
Hey guys I have been offered a position with iPCS, a Spring affiliate. I have worked in wireless retail before, just wondering what you all think about iPCS?
Re: $35 Dollar Re-Stocking Fee Starts Today
We had a discussion about this in the Nextel forum a little while back. They claimed that the Nextel DC was the only service working after Hurrican Katrina. I was in New Orleans during Katrina and my VERIZON phone was back online within a couple hours. These guys told me I was wrong, that I was lying about my personal experience and that they wanted proof. It even got to the point where he emailed me and tried to ...
Re: Call Center Customer Service Reps complain too much.
If there is a customer standing right in front of us, and our system will not allow us to do the calling plan change, what else do you want us to do?
Re: A joke
Check your email again buddy. Like I said in the email, theres not really much I can prove to you. I guess you win this one ...
By the way, you just need to calm down a little. I never said one bad thing about any other carrier, so I don't know why you became so defensive. I thought we were having a civil discussion until I realized you were noticeably upset.
Re: pda data plans
If it is a phone that was released prior to 11/14, then no data plan is required. This includes warranty exchanges or buying a used one off of ebay and what not. If it is a phone that is released on or after 11/14, then the data plan is required.
Re: Not even the food trick worked.
Its been nice here today. The girl I was supposed to work with couldn't come in today, so I have been by myself all day. This is the first break of customers since I got here at 12.
Re: Not happy with VZW
Does anyone else hear that echo?
Re: Not happy with VZW
I suggest going to the 450 minute premium plan. The premium plan will give you exactly what you have now, plus it includes the V CAST VPak and mobile email, all for $79.99. You may also be eligible for a discount through your employer, so look into that as well!
Re: A little help please... (Samsung Rewards)
Just recieved it, thanks!
Re: A little help please... (Samsung Rewards)
I'm in the same boat, I am firewalled here at work so I can't access my email, and my printer decided to stop working last month at home. Can anyone please fax me the cover page and the W-9 form as well? Thanks!
Fax: 1(419)225-8962
Re: Samsung Rewards
I also just recieved mine, I had about 75,000 sales saved up and they are telling me to verify 27 of my sales.
Re: What's the worst thing you've ever seen done to a phone?
Had a guy come in with a bag of materials that I could not distinguish. He informed me that his phone went through the woodchipper and that the bag contained the parts he could find haha.
