I think it's a huge misconception that carriers want you to have overage charges. overage charges make customers extremely unhappy and upset, obviously. so with that, why would a carrier want to have unhappy customers? that means churn and/or shrink for that company and thats the last thing they would want. Overages are more of a way to keep customers in line so they don't over use bandwith and keep the companies costs down.

this is a carrier that does this now partically. tmobile even more plus customers get text notifications when they are about to go over. they've been doing it for a year, and i don't see them having any sort of competitive advantage from it and no other carrier has done so.

check out Samsung Galaxy S (T959), MyTouch Slide, Sidekick Twist, and possibly the Nexus One very soon. T-Mobile seems to take more time to actually launch new devices because of there different testing system they use on possible new phones to the line up. i think there's a video floating around on youtube about the tests the HD2 and the mytouch went through.

"T-Mobile's 3G network is much smaller than those of AT&T, Sprint and Verizon" you're are exactly right when it comes to AT&T, but consider sprint and verizons 3g coverage. Anyone got some factual numbers for us? I do agree with the biased report though, pretty rediculous.

okay. i see what you're saying, but how many consumers are actually going to do that? not many. when you factor in how many phones they sell and how many people go and sell them on ebay, its a tiny percenage. they aren't losing enough money there for them to make such a massive change as that. I think Verizon is realizing that there is such a massive saturation in the cell phone industry, they need to retain as many ...

"the N900 has quad-band GSM/EDGE and 900/1700/2100MHz WCDMA/HSPA cellular radios on board" If this is correct, shouldn't this mean that it will run off the T-Mobile 3G network? I've been told by a Nokia representative to expect an increase in higher end Nokia's soon, but this is more than an increase. This is a leap! Has anyone see any other sources for this or have any confirmation?

T-Mobile is turning into the Progressive Insurance of the wireless industry. They are introducing the mobile makeover to help anyone find the best coverage and value for them, even if it's with a different nationwide carrier. they are using billshrink.com because it's a 3rd party website, which makes the results more believable.

"It is slightly thinner than its most recent predecessor, the Sidekick ID" the Sidekick ID was the simplified version of the Sidekick 3. There has been three other Sidekicks launched since then, being the Sidekick Slide, Sidekick LX 2007, and the Sidekick 2008. The predecessor would then be the Sidekick Lx 2007 being in the same Sidekick line, not the Sidekick ID.

Re: No 3g? Just needed to get my point across.. sorry guys!
Jan 10, 2009, 4:02 PM
in the BlackBerry Curve 8900 forum

T-Mobile's Blackberry Data packages are $25 and $35. the $35 package includes unlimited data and messaging. While 3G is faster than EDGE, the price difference makes up for the it. Keep in mind the blackberry packages are the same for their phones that are 3G as well. as other have said, the 8900 curve can do everything the Bold can, just not as fast. Since Blackberry isn't ready to commit to T-Mobile 3G network, this is T-Mobile's "bold" option for their users.

Well since I'm at work i can't link you any websites, but Granite rock is has the highest amount of natural radiation. There are many natural elements around the world that naturally have a percentage of radiation in them, mostly from adsorbing it.

There is more Radiation in your granite countertops than in a cell phone. We would die if our bodies were completely voided of radiation anyways. A small amount is actually good for you. I mean do you honestly think we don't get radiation from the sun everyday?

If you turned the Webguard service on it will block you from accessing the market. this is because the Market is not content controlled and there is currently not a way to control only certain applications. I'd assume when you were messing around with it, you turned that feature off.

To add to my previous reply, I just got news that a new Blackberry, the 8900, has just been spotted on T-Mobile Germany's website.
