Fly Free 2008 Problems

FYI
I signed up new myfayve plans during Nov.23-25 to qualify the flyfree tickets. Then in April, to my dismay, I found out I was disqualified for the promotion. Reason: My phones were not "activated" during those 3 days. I contacted customer care which refused to change their decision. Finally I asked to speak to "higher authority" and was given a fax number of "customer relations" to file my complaints. I did that, and in 6 weeks I received 2 booking request forms in the mail, quietly. No apologies, no explainations.

So, for all of you getting denied by T-mo for the tickets, you may try contacting "customer relations", asap.

Here is some relevant info I thought you and your readers would like to know.

I'm writing on behalf of T-Mobile in regards to the current "Free Companion Flights" promotion. We want to make sure you and your readers know about this great offer. There's been a ton of interest and a lot of questions about how to redeem the free flights, and we want to be here to answer any questions and point customers in the right direction.

Feel free to post this and reach out to us via the following links. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Jackson

Here's the website to the promotion:

that was actually for 2007, not the 2008 promotion.

you weren't the only one. that was a big mess since it was only for 3 days. our head honcho for customer relations actually personally took care of a lot of those tickets.

the 2008 promation is more than a month and less likey to have as many screw ups as last year.

My wife and I signed up on November of 2007 and can't even get a hold of a booking agent! We leave a message every day and never get a call back. We were supposed to go on a trip back in November but nothing ever happened. We called customer service only to leave another message for the booking folks that was again unanswered! Is this a scam because it was the only reason we signed up for tmoble?

You have to contact T-Mobile and try to get to the head of marketing, one of the stores managers may be able to give you an email address, contact number, or email on your behalf.

Great promotion! I only need to get a hold of the head or marketing for all of T-mobile. How convenient!
