its ok for the money

Mar 31, 2008 by harts2505

this phone is fine for the money i spent on it but is not very durable. the key pad cracks and the charger seems to be shorting out already. I would go with a different phone now that I know what its like. theres not a bunch you can do with this phone its really just a bad quality. theres no internet theres no pictures theres no downloading at all and texting is not easy. I would not recommend this for anyone who wants a phone for texting or internet.

Poor Phone

Pros: Small, easy to keep in pocket, inexpensive, mini usb style charging port, alarm clock, calc, calendar.

Cons: Short battery life, no vibrate!! Small, poorly lit screen. Earpiece volume could be louder (hard to hear the caller when driving). Easy to hit other keys on the phone when using the center directional keys. Polyphonic ringtones. No speaker phone.

Though it is nice to have a basic, cheap option to get you started quickly on your plan, the phone lacks quality and can affect your overall experience with the service. If you use it as your primary cell phone, I would suggest spending a few more $ for a better one. If you are getting it to throw in the glove box for emergencies, it might be ok, maybe...

The EZ is a decent phone

Being the bare-bones phone that the EZ is, its been very reliable. The battery life is roughly 2.5 days with inter-mitten talking and is durable as any other candy-bar style phone. The only cons that i see it has is just its simplicity, no camera,bluetooth,mp3 player etc... but if you have this phone you didn't buy it for its features lol.

its really not a bad phone if you just need to make calls and send text messages this is fine, but only fine.

pros: price

cons: low ring volume, no vibrate, no internet (so you can't add ringtones or download pictures), you can't receive picture messages.
the keys are made of a cheap, hard rubber, and mine are cracking, one of my family members phone has half the keys cracked, we've only had them for about six months.

not for someone who wants a good cheap phone, but fine for someone who needs a phone. we got these as starters, and we had low expectations. when you couple the low cost of this phone with cricket's low prices, it's win-win. the money you save can buy a nicer phone.

I flat out hate these things. When they say this phone is cheap, boy were they not kidding. My sister's broke within two days of buying it. Get another phone
