IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A RING WHEN I GET AN EMAIL???

No. It's not a PDA like the Blackberry, so it doesn't have this function.

The 9800 and 9900 have e-mail sync, unlike the other "regular" phones.

this is true and so did the 8100 and i could put a different tone to each when i got text pic and email and you cant on the 9900
