Some overall questions:

Sams

I am reading the reviews, and there are 2 things I don't understand, which I see so many times:

1) What is "RF" stands for? Speakers or what?

2) Why most of you guys hate the Verizon UI. What's wrong with it? I've been using Verizon Wireless and LG phones for years, and the interface only got better and easier to use. Which interface do you like better?

I personally think that the 8600 phone is just nice looking, but my 8300 is more useful and practical. I wouldn't change it. The main LCD is larger, but the Samsungs (A990?) screen is also larger and the LCD of the Samsung is ultra sharp and beats any LG hands down IMO. Even though I love LG phones much more, I have to admit that.

Some people don't like the UI because Verizon standardizes all of their phones to there below average functionality. With a company like Sprint it lets you customize a lot of the menus, colors, styles, pictures, etc. Verizon doesn't let you change much. That's my impression.

The reason VZW did this is so people will be able to buy new phones and still now how to use it. To many people call and ask for help to do simple things without ever looking at the manual. I know some people dont like it but overall I am sure it is not a big deal. I personally dont mind it.
