phone build

just to start off, i've always loved my LG phones, but form factor was beginning to bother me. (i like a small phone i can slide in my pocket) Wondering if anyone could comment on the build quality of this phone for being the first truely small form factored phone i've seen from LG. Does it compare with the durability of the razr? Is the keypad comfortable? (i like to play tetris on my train ride to work). and does it truely outperform the razr? I had a razr and got the lg 8300 but comparing back now the razr was much better for me, except that their were lots of little things that bothered me about it. Does the LG feel better in the palm of you hand than the razr?

THanks!
appreciate any feedback!

I just went into a Verizon store today to check this phone out, and as a cell phone junkie I'll give you my opinion and you can take it for what it's worth. And just so you know, I have had a RAZR and I love the looks and feel of it, just hate the Verizon UI.

First off, I would say it's about as thin as the RAZR but maybe slightly narrower. I think it's a pretty nice looking phone when you're just staring at it on display. REALLY nice outer screen. But in my opinion the big difference from the RAZR is when you actually pick it up.

I have had it for a few days and I would have to agree it feels a little cheap but I do love this phone more then the chocolate, and razr (and yes, I have had both). Its just such an attractive phone.

Cheap plastic feel to the entire phone, its a fingerprint magnet too. It cant touch the razr for performance or quality build.

this 8600 blows away the razr in performance what are you talking about???? I agree the new and i say the new razr does feel alot more solid then the old and it does feel more solid than the 8600 but thats just the different materials used.
