LG VX-8500 Chocolate
Is my 8500 broken or is this normal?
When the phone is closed, on the bottom right side there is a gap between the keypad and top of the phone and i can press them together, however the rest of the phone is tightly together and there is no gap you can press together. Is this normal or is everyone else's phone firmly in place with no gap? I want to make sure my slider is not breaking apart. Thank you.

There has to be a small gap for the slider to work without the top and bottom of the phone rubbing together when you open and close it. If you look at the pics on here under the info tab, you can clearly see a gap, which should be there.

That is what I had thought at first, what made me question this was that it only has a gap on the bottom left corner and not any other part of the phone.

I actually wondered the same thing when I got mine. But, as said above, I think it's normal. I have a feeling this is just gonna be one of those phones you're gonna have to be careful with.
