In-Ear Bluetooth Headsets?

Aug 14, 2006, 10:44 AM
I have a Moto HS850 that I've come to realize sits in the wrong spot on my ear. It's manageable on my V3 but I can't hear with it on my V3M, partly because I think the person on the other end has a tendency to move the phone around a bit while talking.

So, I bought a Jabra wired in-ear headset but the wire is a PITA (not to mention sooooo lame 😉 ). I'm going to buy a new in-ear bluetooth headset and replace both.

Any thoughts? Plantronics Voyager 510? Jabra BT500? Another choice that has worked well?

I have the Voyager 510, which is about the best of the wind reducing headsets, but it doesn't block wind like the Plantronics MX-505 wired headset.
I have a Scala Rider on order, which I'm going to be using for BICYCLING as NONE of the BT headsets available block wind at a mere 12-15 mph.
(510, CARDO Scala 500, Logitech mobile traveler(does a pretty good job))
I use the 510 a LOT and it works well.(but not in windy conditions)
I certainly would consider the BT500, and have the wired JABRA ear wave with the ear gels, which are VERY comfortable and sound directing.
Of course, I'm going to try the H5 when it comes out, but I hope Motorola gave a second's thought to some of us non couch potatoes who might use it outside!(Ie, it won't ...
