Looking for video and Mp3 capabilities, considering a Q or a V3M, some questions for you guys...
1)The Q allows your custom ringtones to be heard through the bt headset (my 815 does not) does the V3m?
2)What is the largest micoSD card support for the V3m? - 2gbs I think? -
3)V3m: Can you hear music through a single ear BT headset? and what about a steroe BT headset?
4)V3m: Does the voice recognition software ALWAYS ask 'which number' even if there is only 1 number for that entry?
5)v3m: Is there a backdoor way around V's gui, can we over backdoor moto's software?
thx, thx, thx, thx, thx!!!!!

I just switched from Cingular to Verizon and love my service by the way. I was also looking at the Q or the Razr. The Razr seems to support Mp3 very well from my experience so far. I'm not sure what you mean by video (my vcast video works very well) camera video is a bit choppy. I have not been able to hear my custom ringtones or my music through my BT headset at all. I'm gonna go ahead and make the assumption that it doesn't matter if its a single ear or headset. So far the largest card i've seen is the 1gig. The voice recognition does not ALWAYS ask!. Thx for the replies... I just tested a v3m and yes, the voice recognition seems to be better than the original v3c! I tried my transflash card and could not seem to get music or ringtones through the headset either ☹️ Why would moto or verizon not support music through a mono or stereo headset?
Hmmm, Q might be the ticket for me as i really want music and ringtones through my BT headset! i just wish the video wasn't so choppy on the Q and it would be almsot perfect!!

I would personally go for the KRZR over the V3M RAZR. The V3M has the volume adjustments up on the flip upper part of the phone. This is really bad ergonomically. The new KRZR has the vol adj on the lower portion where you hold the phone. The KRZR is a bit more narrow making the V3M look big & clumsy. I jumped the gun when the V3M came out and really wish I held off and kept using my Nokia 6236i until my contract warrented a discount on new equipment. The Nokia is nearly perfect, but does not have bluetooth. It does have an infrared port that works extremely fast with a laptop PC. The reception is also superior to the V3M. Side by Side (apples to apples) the Nokia does not drop any calls in my 1-2 bar max reception in my home.
