Phone is the exact same as the V3c just added Verizons MOD and fixed internal bugs, nothing the user would notice.

this phone went backwards ..the v3c had a changeable front screen the v3m doesn't ..

Yeah, that really bugged me. I didn't even know about this until after I purchased the phone...
(All the pictures showed that it did, I guess I just assumed, even though all the closed pics looked like V3c closed, I still just thought that it would.)

Actually, Verizon did a software update on a lot of v3c's (version .4) it changed it so the front screen is a solid color... Doesn't match the wallpaper from inside, and cant be changed. dunno if the v3m has that solid color too, or not. But I wouldn't be surprised

it's a really good upgrade to the v3c. Two problems moto took care of:
-there's no delay between the screens
-here's the big one moto got right. You can only change the profile with the rocker switch when the phone is open. The rocker switch does not change the profile in the closed position, so the phone no longer accidentally changes profiles and goes silent when you put it in your pocket.
-you still the need the extended battery

Actually you can change the profile witht he rocker switch when the phone is closed. You just need to hold down on it for a little longer to activate it.

i've had this phone for about 4 days now. i had the crappy Samsung A850. what a piece. i was totally stoked about getting the v3m mainly b/c of the mp3 player (NOT). here are some pros and cons i came up with and then a little hate mongering after. 😈
Pros:
- SEXY AS ALL GET OUT! big plus
- much faster when changing screens than A850, but could be faster
- very loud speaker, good job!
- clear calls
- i like the ATTEMPT at putting sound profiles on, poorly executed though
- Strong battery
- pretty good pics
- Screen is amazing!
Cons:
- in order to play your MP3's you must first put the card in your phone (this will create the necessary folders, then convert them to WMA and then throw them on the card in the my mus...
