Can I give this phone to someone with T-Mobile

I'm thinking of giving this to someone but they have T-Mobile. Just wanted to know if they would be alright with this phone.

I am sorry but this phone is a CDMA network phone while your friend is on a GSM network. Plainly said, you use barcodes while they use sim cards.
