so i ordered the phone Sunday, and i asked does the phone come with everything i need to put music on it? The rep say yes sir, it comes with the memory card, usb cable and ear buds. I get the phone from fed ex today, open the box and alls i see is the charger?? I call cingular back and ask wheres everything else? they say well you need to buy all the accessories! So I say well the rep told me it came with everything. She puts me on hold for 20 minutes, comes back and says well i would send you the stuff at no charge but i cant order it myself. I would be happy to give you a 20% discount being the rep you spoke with told you it came with everything and for everything you need that will come to 105.95$ !! Now to me, this is like buying a car t...

I agree. This is an area that Cingular has to work on. I hate having to call them b/c they are the most ignorant people in wireless when it comes to knowing their products and services. It does not stop there, I went to a corporate store and asked a question about the 3g phones and he told me he did not know much about them he just sold them 😳

yesss the 3g also happned to me, I knew what the 3g was but i wanted to know more about it, the rep said she never heard about it and to go to cingulars website to find more information. I ended up explaining to her what it was. i had to laugh when she was like 3G hummmmmmmm what is that? I dont know what your talking about sir.

regardless of weather i call cingular, or work online, not having a clue about anything, and being misinformed isnt right.

The bottom line is that the rep should know the technology the company is using and keep up to date on changes . Customers these days can be very savy when it comes to technology so its very important that you know the product that your selling.

Here's a hint, go to the store and buy your phone from someone who know what they are doing. i.e. Try to find a sales rep who is paid on salary and not commission, this person will be honest with you and take the time to answer all your questions instead of making the sale and pushing you out the door or getting you off the phone. As for spending all the money to make the phone to work, vistit www.tiger.com and save money and get your phone working 100%

I did go to the cingular store, well actually alot of cingular stores but since were not in the 3g area, none of them had to phone, so i was forced to buy from the 1800 number.
