No, the plugs on the picture only have one or two rings. You need the three-ring 2.5mm plug.

If you have stereo headphones with a 3.5mm plug that you would like to use, you need something like this:

If you want to try better headphones, the ones on the Radio Shack page seem nicer than the LG ones:

Or you can try a set of bluetooth stereo headphones:

Depends on how you look at it:

2.5 male to 3.5 female OR
3.5 femaile to 2.5 male

Regardless, you want a cable with two ends, one end with 2.5 male and one end with 3.5 female.

Make sure you get a "three band" ("four pin") adapter. The CU500 supports a stereo headset, so you have four conductors/pins - left, right, mic, and common. There is an insulator between each conductor, so that makes three black "bands."

So, the male should look like this:

left/right/mic/common

Where "left," "right," "mic," and "common" are conductors (gold/silver) and each "/" is an insulator. (I don't know if the order of conductors above is correct, however).

At least, this is how I've come to undersatnd it.

So far the only thing I've seen that I think will work is:

(posted by vdp) I ordered it, and will report back when I get it.

I may have over paid:

Froogle reports the following for SKN6183 (starting at $8.32):

http://www.accessorygeeks.com/motorola-oem-adapter-s ... »

But www.callphonemall.net may be more of a reliable source. Dunno.
