8300 backlighting?

Hello there. I recently got the Razr and to be honest, not that impressed by it other than the size and ease of putting it in your pocket. Thinking of getting rid of it while I still have about a week left on my return policy and getting the LG 8300. My question is this. Can anyone tell me how the backlighting is on the keypad? My old LG, which I had several years ago worked great but it was hard to see the keypad at night for texting. Is this light bright or stillkind of dim so hard to see the letters. Any info appreciated. Thanks

The keypad lights up in a nice bright even blue backlighting.

It's bright for the numbers and letters, but the CLR key (which is used to erase a letter, or go back in a menu), as well the END and SPEAKER keys are very dim lighted. LG needs to fix that in future phones. I think that Samsung has the best key backlighting available. Even though it's subjective if white (Samsung) is a nicer color than dark blue (LG), but at least everything lights up very nicely and evenly. Much nicer than LG phones.
