You Decide: LG VX8300 For Me?

I currently have a Motorola V505 w/ AT&T Wireless, but have never migrated to Cingular because my plan is better than anything offered. However, I have moved to Stamford, Connecticut and get terrible coverage at my home and drive to work. Apparently, everyone has luck with Verizon in my area, so I think I will go with their service.

I want a phone that:
1) Has great reception
2) Has a great earpiece (I have some hearing difficulty due to manufacturing work and firearms)
3) Good battery life
4) Dependability

I will not be using the internet, text messaging, camera, audio, or other add-on features.

Does the LG VX8300 fit my profile?

I will be traveling to Kentucky (where I had great Cingular coverage) once every 6 weeks or so f...

Sounds like it will just bluetooth could be an issue otherwise. And the speakerphone has to be bugged(headset in the phone and plug it out) to work with the phone closed.

Should I wait to see if Verizon releases an updated phone with better Bluetooth, or just get the phone now?
