What are must have program additions?
So far, I have a utility to autolock the keypad, aregistry editor for mucking around, a port of putty for ssh terminal and pocket virutal earth.

Do you have experience setting up a home network? If so, it's a snap. Plug your cable TV coax into the Slingbox (or your digital tuner/DVR), plug the other end into your router, configure the software and router and that's all. It was up and running in 20 minutes. (you must have good upload bandwidth for it to work right).
Sync your Q to your desk or laptop, go to the Slingbox site and select "auto configure" and it sets up the Q for your. It can't be easier.
My buddy and I just finished watching both World Cup games here at work on ESPN2 on my Q. What a gas!
There aren't too many killer apps out there anymore; this is one of them. Cable TV wherever you can get...

If you do happen to make this work, be sure to buy one of the unlimited download packages offered like the one through Verizon. I can imagine this sucks up some bandwidth, and I'd sure hate to use Slingbox on a "pay by byte" basis.
I have a DVR supplied from Comcast cable, i'm assuming it can be any DVR not just Tivo.
How does the video go out onto the vzw network? Is it transferring over the net? wireless?
