Any views on extended battery adding thickness

Anyone have any comments on the thickness that the extended battery adds on the phone.

I've got the extended battery in right now.
Here's the best way I can describe it:


Take off your standard battery cover.
Leave the battery compartment exposed and hold your standard battery cover to the TOP section of the device (basically - cover the camera, the flash, and the Moto icon with your normal battery cover (put the word "Verizon" on the battery cover so that you can read it when looking at the back of the phone, and so that it's toward the top of the phone (it works battery this way because the rails of the battery cover sit on the rails created by the SD/infrared slot and the bump of the thumb-wheel housing).

The amount of extra thickness you see on the top of your phone with the battery cover arranged this way is almo...

Let us know what difference you find in the life on the extended batt. One thing I've noticed is that the 'larger' battery indicate in the Power Management applet only mimics the 4 bars from the on-screen icon. I would have expected additional incremental data (say in 5% increments, rather than 25%).

Yeah, kind of a crappy picture. I'll try to post a picture and put the link on here. It does add a decent amount of weight to it and it does take a little bit away from the sleekness in the design. HOWEVER it is well worth the $20 investment. I was finding it hard to make it a full day on the other battery. My phone was dying by the time I was going home. This battery is great. It will definitely make it through the day, even with a significant amount of use.
