Always Communicating?

My Q seems to always be transferring data or connected to something, yet I have no tasks running. Is this from the Wireless Sync Application? The reason I think it's always communicating is because I have the double arrows over the signal strength indicator. Any thoughts??

Mine does the same thing........I was wondering that myself. It still does it, eventhough I don't have my email set to automatically check for messages.

Try reading the Manual, Page 50 tells you how to put the phone in Flight Mode.

seems the only way to fix this is to put your phone on "NEVER" update on your email accounts on the wireless sync instead of every 15 min, etc.

I did this, and no longer have the arrows - hope my battery lasts longer.

When I feel like checking my email, I just go into the account and hit send/receive

Any updates on this? My wife's phone does this and she doesn't have e-mail set up yet. Once it's online, the double arrows don't go away unless the phone is shut down and restarted. Anybody figure out a way to get rid of the double arrows besides what was suggested (didn't work for me) above?
