V710 return help

I just left my local VZW store to buy my replacement phone and they told me that I can not buy it there. They told me I would have to get it on the website. My deadline is next week, so I'm REALLY pushing it as far as going through the website.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this? Can I purchase it online on Verizon Wireless' regular website and pick the phone up at a store? Is there any other info that I can bring back to the VZW store so I CAN purchase my replacement there? It would really suck if I can't claim my settlement because I was waiting for the Q.

And those waiting for Motorola Q the rep said it would be out online from May 31st- June 4th... June 5th it would be in the stores....

Meaning you won't be able to participate... so what i suggest is going to www.verizonwireless.com/v710exchange to exchange your phone...order a treo 650 or whatever phone you want and exchanging it within 15 days for the motorola Q.... goodluck

read your paper work I'm not sure what your says but on part 11 I have until june 18 2006 to get my v710 back to the address
so on may 31 I'm going to the exchange site and selecting the Q and then sending my phone right back to them.. if the Q is not there on the 31 then yes I'll order another pda phone but just like the Treo 700p I beleive it'll be on the site on the day it launchs.

I don't know if this helps or not but at the bottom of the settlement exchange website it says this:

If the phone you are looking for is not listed, you may alternatively purchase your replacement phone and any accessories by logging in to My Account on our website at www.VerizonWireless.com. If you have not previously enrolled in My Account, you will need to register and establish a User Name and Password in order to purchase the phone and accessories.

Certain phones may only be available by visiting your nearest Verizon Wireless retail store.

IMPORTANT: To receive your refund, receipts for your new phone plus any accessories MUST be returned in the same package with your V710 phone (including any receipts for your V710 phone and...

That's what I thought, but they had no info on being able to do that. I thought it should have been cut and dry, as well as simple, but it wasn't. I was there about 40 min. as they called around looking for answers.

My advice: Use the website provided, unless you have some guaranteed information.

I confirmed with the v710 settlement coordinator that you CAN buy it at a store - as long as you include your receipt with your v710. E-mail them yourself and see.

On the letter included in the settlement packet it says you must buy the phone from the v710 exchange website in order to receive the refund. In addition to now saying

"If the phone you are looking for is not listed, you may alternatively purchase your replacement phone and any accessories by logging in to My Account on our website at www.VerizonWireless.com."

It also states that
