one question "Unlimited data usage" does it include TXT??

when I was worked VZW it did.. just wondering if something changed

I asked a sales rep about that a couple of weeks ago and he said that the data plan does not include text messages. You will be charged for each text message you send/receive without a specific text plan. As we all know, VZW isn't going to miss out on a great opportunity like that.

the 199.99 price is if you select a quallifying voice and unlimted data plan... if you don't want to pay the 80.00 a month the you pay 299.99 for the phone. as for the ne2 I don't know the answer to that but logic would say it would be 99.99 if you pick the 80.00 plan and sign a 2 year

Cool. It seems they're giving us a lot of choices.

I hope I could use the new every 2, choose the $80 plan, and get the phone for $99.99, and a month later switch to a lower cost plan.

I have a Family Share plan with one additional line. I am month to month at this time, but will be signing a new two year agreement when I pick up my Q.

The question is, can I add an additional line (at $9.99) to the $80 data plan?

"The question is, can I add an additional line (at $9.99) to the $80 data plan?"

no you can't but with that said you should be able to just select the 80.00 when you buy the phone and then tell vzw you want to set up a family plan at that point. the should allow you to goto any of there family plans and add 45.00 for the unlimited data option.

I called VZW and the rep said you couldn't combine the offers. I'm hoping he was just feeding me BS to get me off of the phone though, but we'll see.

I have asked that same question to Verizon, and it appears that no, you cannot add additinal lines to the voice/data bundles since it is not a "family share" plan.

Basic rule of thumb with Verizon --> "if it sounds too good to be true, it is"

What I am wanting to do is have a 2-yr new agreement with a FamilyPlan package for voice and add a data plan, probably the $25/month for 10MB.

Are you saying this will not be an option?

I read the press release. It mentioned like 3 plans with the basic voice and data for $80/month along with the other 2 for higher voice minutes. I ASSUMED that this information was only giving a flavor of what is available, not the only options.

Can anyone shed light on this?

Thanks

You can have it that way
IF you upgrade an existing line to this phone it'll be 419.99 if your not eligible for upgrade and if you are upgradeable(non NE2) its 299.99 and if you are NE2 eligible then its 199.99
as for your plan it would have to be the Fam Pri + DATA PACKAGE then you can make the other phones the secondary lines
but the data needs to be the primary line.

If you want to purchase the phone as a new line you need to select one of those three plans provided in the release to get it for 199.99 after you buy it a day or two later restructure you plan so the new line is the primary phone in the family plan and then make the other phones secondaries.

It just about the pricing on the phone that makes it tricky..
