Hey, I currently have a razr (It's ok). But I want a phone (thinking Q), that can be used as a graphic organizer (Keep homework assignments), I want it to be thin, Memory Slot, long battery, good camera, fast ui, and I guess e-mail is important (I have roadRunner and yahoo). I don't know if the numbers that are on the keyboard will bother me. Does it bother you guys how the numbers are in a column like that? Maybe it just needs a taking to get to. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add but I read something about the Q only having a view type file of any Excel, Word, or PowerPoint. Does this mean you can type something up on word?

My vz guru tells me the Q was intended for users who want email access with the ability to just read the attachments, be they Excel, Word or PowerPoint. So far there is no word on if or when Motorola, Microsoft or a third party will offer software for the Q that will let the user create and update Excel, Word or PowerPoint files. It may be a deal breaker for me. I like the Q and its potential but have not made the purchase.

Do you know if there is a way to open a Word document other than through the viewer? When I open through the viewer by the time I zoom in large enough to see it I have to scroll side to side as well as up and down. Something I don't have to do with my Blackberry.
Thanks.

Go for a Treo. You'll thank yourself in hte long run.

The Q is a lot like a Blackberry in many ways -- good for email and text messaging, decent for web browsing, but as a PDA it's pretty lacking. It's just nowhere near as flexible and full-features as, say, a Treo 700p.

I haven't decided yet whether or not to keep my Q or trade it for a Treo. I've got an older Palm Tungsten T3 that can continue to handle PDA chores like calendaring (Q's calendar sucks), note-taking, document editing, etc. The Q does a reasonably good job with email, so I'm not sure I'm willing to spend another $200 just so I can retire the Tungsten and keep all PDA functions, phone, and email on a single device. I'll probably wait and see what's available in two years when I'm eligible for a new phone again.

I want a Q but I don't want to spend 419.99 for it. I could always buy your Q or something. Thanks
