copy/paste functionality?

As this is not a touchscreen, I'm wondering if anyone has a feel for (or if) cut and paste works. I think this would be a major thing missing compared to the treo for those who edit documents, or copy small pieces of text around. Also, if one exists for the OS, how's the ssh client?

I am only guessing, as it related to the blackberry with a trackwheel.

You right click the track wheel, activate select. Move the trackwheel highlighting the text you want to copy. Click copy from the trackwheel menu. Click paste from the trackwheel menu.

It sounds long but it is not bad. I would not go back to a touch screen. I am very much waiting to check out the Q vs. my current blackberry or when the blackberry 8700 comes out on VRZ.
